It's not a perfect experience for a first-time practitioner, but it was a pretty good first impression. I took 1 out of 10 away for what I perceived as a semi lack of personal warmth. Maybe it's the type of yoga, not the shala itself, so weigh my comments with that in mind. As far as the yoga itself, it was a great experience with a competent instructor with a very attentive assistant to make sure I understood finer aspects of the asanas. I'd def go back.
