A friend invited me and I was nervous because it's been a long time since I attended a class. The poses had modifications and I didn't feel embarrassed taking child's pose when I needed to. I felt welcomed and accepted for exactly what my body and spirit could do that day. The energy in the space itself was phenomenal and the slight pat on the arm from the instructor at the end was so affirming I cried tears of gratitude. I felt like showed up for myself to the fullest in that class and it filled me with joy and awe that lasted the rest of the night
