• I was a clueless beginner when I came to learn welding, but I came out knowing how to do basic MIG welding. It was also very fun. The instructor, Dani, was extremely friendly and explained everything clearly. I saw that there are lots of other classes, including woodwork and forging. It's a cool place!

• Urban workshop provides the resources and space that is unavailable to many individuals both young and old who are interested in trades and/or creation but lack the equipment, networking, knowledge, and/or space. It is the shop class that is missing from so many high schools and community colleges. Urban workshop is everything i would want in my own personal workshop minus the overhead and initial investment. I wish there were more locations

• Love the place and the idea of teaching kids theses specialized skills (leather making, smoldering, laser etching, etc). Especially for my daughter who has not had exposure to these types of skills in a traditional classroom setting.
