• I found Taylor at Urban Waxx - Tanasbourne by random chance and, after several visits, I couldn't be happier! Taylor brings a fantastic, upbeat attitude to every appointment. Her attention to detail is unmatched and she always thoroughly reviews her work at the end to ensure it looks perfect which I appreciate; nobody enjoys paying for a wax, getting home, and finding out that some spots were missed. What really sets her apart in my mind is her incredible "stream of consciousness" conversation style which I resonate well with on account of the fact that I too enjoy talking. A lot. Hence this ridiculously long text message. 🤣 We’ve covered everything from kids' sports and international travel to weddings and wedding planning, business travel, work, family life, TV, books, and even sci-fi/fantasy tropes in literature that we both like and dislike in conjunction with a thorough discussion of why. Do I expect a detailed discussion of literary tropes while getting waxed? No. Is it totally amazing when it happens? Absolutely! 😁 When you're spending an hour or two getting hair pulled out, having a great conversationalist turns mild discomfort into a painless experience and a regularly returning client. (P.S. To whoever reads this, please tell Taylor I know I owe her my nail salon recommendation! I got distracted by a fight with my water bottle on the way out last time and incidentally forgot, but I'll bring it to my next appointment in 4–6 weeks!) Thank you!
