• The customer service is consistently great, but the best part is the free wine ;) They are always quick and on time. Jill was my esthetician last time and I had no pain. Literally painless. Highly, highly recommend.

• Love everyone at Urban Waxx on NW 18th! What could be an awkward, uncomfortable experience (you know what I am talking about!) is always handled in the most professional, comfortable, positive way. I always feel like a million bucks when I walk out of there. No matter age (61) or shape (gravity has taken its toll), they make you feel wonderful.

• Janelle was awesome! She was so friendly, and did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable and way less nervous. Yeah, it hurt a bit, but her no nonsense approach, and professional attitude made it so much better. We joked around a bit, and I even laughed. Great job, urban Waxx! You and Janelle rocked it!

• Jennie did an incredible job distracting me with conversation. She prepared me for moments that I would feel more discomfort, and communicated well throughout the waxing. It was apparent that Jennie had a lot of experience waxing. The venue was clean and very aesthetically pleasing, and the snacks and drinks provided added a nice touch. The music playing was fun. Even paying at the end, the lady who helped us was great about not pressuring me to purchase any other the extras, even though I ended up doing that. The entire experience was excellent, and makes it worth driving into Portland from Vancouver WA.
