• From my Yelp review: After many failed attempts at DIY hair removal, I finally succumbed to leaving this kind of skincare to the experts - and I'm glad I did. I've been thinking about sugaring since reading so many positive reviews and decided to treat myself before a vacation. The location itself is in a random shopping center on the outskirts of downtown Walnut Creek with free parking available in the small lot. The interior is bright and clean with a few seats, magazines, and complimentary tea and water while you check in and wait for your service. I waited less than 5 minutes on a weekday morning and was greeted by Sydney who promptly started taking care of business! The sugaring paste is made of sugar and lemon and is significantly less painful and messy than wax. I will never go back to DIY! The skin was tender for a few hours after treatment with very little bruising and no bumps. Yay! All of the products used during the sugaring treatment were natural, clean, and made by the business owner. Everything was soothing to the skin and smelled lovely. With check in offers, loyalty cards, friendly service, and great products, there's plenty of reasons for anyone to give True Waxology & Skincare a try!

• I had been debating on getting a Brazilian wax for about a year now. I was just so nervous and worried that I'd be in the worst pain ever. At 18 weeks pregnant I decided it was the time, with 3 kids and a babe on the way; there was no privacy or time to shave. I came into True Waxology and had my waxing done by Laura. Guess what?! It was like nothing! I was in the perfect hands. She talked just enough to keep me laughing and guided me through it. Also the Brazilian is life changing! I will most definitely be coming to see Laura for ALL my waxing needs.

• This was my first time at True Waxology and Skincare. I just moved to the Bay Area and I am very pleased with the service, professionalism and cleanliness of this spa center. It was also my first time sugaring and Laura was very informative about the products and explaining the the services she was performing on me. She made sure I was relaxed and comfortable during the process. I am really pleased and have already re--booked for more.
