Each class will offer a slightly different focus to explore. All practices are both guided and self-guided. This allows you to adapt, adjust or decline any movement according to your body’s current needs. Your comfort and safety are our first priority.
Please note this is not an exercise or dance class. Come as you are and prepare to be inspired.

Class focus
Body comfortable - Introducing the very practical nature of Easing. Where are you sensing discomfort? Where can you find greater ease? What do you sense as you sit, stand and move? Where do you physically sense safety and support?

Breathe your body – Following the natural Ease and flow of body breathing. What do you sense as your body breathes? What is the breath telling you? How does breathing support your body? What is the nature of flow?

Moving your way – Celebrating your unique movement expression. What is authentic movement? What is your movement vocabulary today? What does your body want to say? How can you find greater ease?

Body sensing – Inviting a deeper listening to the inner body landscape and language. What is body sense? What is it like to sense into your muscles, systems, organs and cells? What is your body sense telling you? How do you know what is tense and what is relaxed, what is tight and what is soft? Does touch help you sense more deeply or not?

Supportive touch – Exploring Easing through touch. There is the invitation to explore non-invasive touch with yourself and others. How does touch bring comfort and support? What does firm yet gentle, gentle yet firm touch feel like? Can you let go of force?

Relax and release – Sensing the body language of muscle tension, relaxation and release. How might you best release stress and tension? What is purposeful relaxation? What is progressive relaxation?What levels of relaxation you can play with?
