Pricing of waxing is subject to increase depending on the duration of the appointment and the amount of wax required to meet the desired result.

The hair grows in different cycles, for best results keep your waxing consistent and this will help you to catch these hair cycles up as closely as you can so you are able to pull more active hairs at once leaving you hairless for longer. Shaving in between can disrupt these hair cycles and it is not recommended for best results.

The desired length of the hair is generally around 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch. This can differ with hair type, texture, density, and area. Most hair can be closer to 1/4 of an inch but as a general rule, hair in the Bikini/Brazilian area should be slightly longer to ensure it can all be pulled nicely. Hair longer than ½ inch can be waxed however the longer it is the more painful it can be, trimming is recommended.

Just like with any service you could have an allergy or reaction to the product, it is important to let us know if you have any known allergies or sensitivities or if you have ever had a bad reaction to wax of any kind. On top of that if your skin has lifted once, it will likely lift again and likely in the same spot, let us know of any previous lifting as well.

There are some medications that can cause bad reactions in waxing. The most common of these are accutane within a year of waxing and antibiotics within 3 weeks of your wax. There are others that may cause sensitivity. It is best to ask your practitioner if you have any concerns.
