• I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Still Point. We are not locals, just happened to be in town for our honeymoon. We wanted a massage and some relaxation, and to be completely honest, Still Point was not the first place we looked. We wanted to do something fancy, and had looked at the Grove Park Inn... they were all booked up. So we took a chance somewhere that got good reviews. And I am so soooo happy that we did. I had never done a float before, and would recommend it to all. The experience in general from the massage into the float tank was second to none. My massage therapist was a consummate professional. He gave me a fantastic deep tissue massage (technically Esalen, but the point is, he was not afraid to get in there!). And then the float.... what an incredible experience. I will admit, it is probably not for everyone, particularly if you are afraid of the dark or small spaces. But, even if you are, if you can let go of that and really immerse yourself in the experience... the pay off is huge!!! Will definitely be visiting again next time I am in Asheville.
