Here is what I wrote in an IG post after class:
first time . Contemporary with Max Stone . a perfect last-minute decision . I attended via Virtual LiveStream in my CA living room
a beautiful challenge
I absolutely loved this class. The warm-up was so beautiful. His cues were succinct - his voice and delivery - peaceful . meditative
it was a wonderful challenge since there was quite a bit of floor work, some jumps and some slides on the floor that of course I had to modify so as not to risk cracking open my knee head or other limbs on the side of the fireplace, kicking a cat the couch or a table.
I made the most of it and loved every minute
Having to improv for 30 seconds at the end was an exciting challenge since I have barely taken any contemporary classes in the last couple of years
so I just let the song move me
I will definitely take this class again

Kathy is a great teacher at all levels. Being able to take her class remotely has been very important to me.
Thanks SO much for keeping virtual dance classes! They are really appreciated! I was all set to go to NYC when I came down with covid for the 1st time ever. It was a joy taking Randy's class last night virtually! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been taking Margarita Wesley’s class and just like the many ballet classes I have taken on Zoom from steps in the past the teachers are so professional and caring and welcoming I cannot say enough positive things about them. I also recommend to studios, local to me, that they should try a class at steps to see how well your technical
(Cameras and mind body connections) are and maybe follow your lead as to how to present the classes to the wider option for virtual classes. You have this down and I am
so happy to be able to avail myself to wonderful teachers and easy access.
