Steps is my favorite place to take class. The teachers are great. It would be even better if there was a way to ensure people don’t come in late. When someone comes in late, they try to squeeze in to a spot and it’s disruptive to everyone else in class especially a ballet class.

Tommy waisuta is an excellent teacher. He is welcoming, highly skilled, always willing to explain, and has a unique take on tap choreography. He is heavily focused on rhythm which leads to a lot of challenging percussion based exercises and unusual music choices for combinations. He's also good about checking with those on zoom to make sure we are following.
