• I had never had a DevaCut before, and was not sure what to expect. Azi was absolutely fantastic—she explained everything she would do and why she was going to do it. I explained to her my hair concerns and she listened and tailored my cut after those concerns—and it actually showed! Some people listen and the cut doesn't look like anything that was discussed. I also appreciated that everything was done in a timely manner. No waiting around, no being hurried from station to station, no sitting around aimlessly. Best of all, Azi showed me what product she used and what it was called, but did not pressure me to buy it. As a fellow curly haired person, she totally understands that people have their own regimens and that I cannot necessarily create the salon look at home with one product anyway. I love that she explained how she styled my hair and that she likes to use as few products as possible. I come to the salon for the cut and the styling tips, and I got both this one. Overall, my experience was great: the front desk staff were attentive and polite, the salon was clean, everything moved ahead on schedule, and Azi was an absolute joy. I will have to style my hair myself a few times to see how the cut holds up, but so far I have no hesitation in recommending Michael Helene Salon after my experience! Hold onto Azi—she's a gem!!

• I walked in and got a haircut with Ava. She did a great job cutting my very straight blunt cut long hair into a delicately layered and lighter hair style. I was very very happy with the outcome. Will be returning for color very soon.
