• Went to MH for trial run and day hair and makeup for my wedding. Ava was amazing. She listened to our wedding plans, my likes and dislikes, and offered suggestions on different looks and styles. She is a warm and accommodating person who worked within our timeframe and preferences --she even opened the store one hour early for my day of. I plan to go back for a haircut very soon. • I discovered this salon on Groupon and made an appointment for nails services. My nail technician, Courtney was perfect! She's professional and a student of hercraft. I gained a lot of knowledge while being pampered. I would highly recommend Michael Helena Salon and Courtney anytime! Marquita G.

• This is a new location of an established salon; I definitely recommend checking it out. Ava cut my hair and she was wonderful. She listened to what I wanted, looked at the photos I brought in, and explained her ideas about the look I wanted. She asked for my opinion and listened to it, but was also ready with her own ideas when I wasn't sure what would look best. As she cut my hair, she explained what she was doing, which I really appreciated (I've had too many bad haircuts, and during all of them I had no idea what the stylist was doing to my hair). I live in Herndon and have tried a couple other salons in the area. This is by far the best salon experience I've had.
