  • Amazing courses (IHP & Bikram), great teachers that keep you inspired and are personable, and I leave feeling lighter and balanced every time. Only thing I wish is for a bigger studio, it's been quite cramped lately, but overall love Bikram Yoga of Santa Rosa. It's the best investment in myself I've made and thanks to IHP teachers I've developed a healthy habit.

  • On Friday night, I knew I had to get in the zone and workout. I have maybe done something athletic and therapeutic three times in the 6 months, maybe a little more. I was less active eating at the same clip of when I was going to yoga studios more frequently, or at least doing some pull-ups using the crossbeam of a soccer goal at the park. Not even that... "I am 42 ",that clicked in my head, I would like to get some days in at a gym once to twice a week, but what do I need now? Bikram Yoga. Time was tight, so I just went with my best recollection of the class schedule which, I thought was 6:30 = Bikram(60/90). I showed up, did not pre-order a spot, waited for a head count and was given the go ahead. Up to this point I had no idea I just signed up the Pilates class. When I got in the locker room I ran into a few people I am familiar with. They were talking like they just finished up a yoga class. I thought, "huh, if they just finished yoga, maybe that was a 60 and I am doing a 90 or the other way around... ." Nope it was brought to my attention that this was a Pilates class, I thought sh#$, time to say a prayer. My first time... I laid out my mat, spoke with a couple neighbors, gained a little insight, and took one step at a time from there on out. It was a great experience. I cannot see my abs, but I can feel them today. Great night of sleep. Was given a day pass to a gym the next day, got on the treadmill and really felt like the Pilates movements set me up for a good 60 minute cardio and weight session. Thank you!

  • Both the Bikram and Pilates classes make you feel great and enlivened. People are warm and welcoming. If you get a chance, take a class with Catalina, she makes you capable of things you didn't know you could do.
  • I felt challenged and I enjoyed the teachers and class experience.
