I call it " a safe space "Where you can escape for even an hour but there is some kind of innate camaraderie given the circumstances we're there in the first place . My Daughter was in the 1200 building . Shooter passed her room . Our next door neighbor Joaquin was killed and color guard friend . My daughter Would not speak about it to anyone. She said only someone who was there could ever relate . But she found solace in painting . We first went to the program at Coral Springs museum of art. Then I paid for separate lessons . Then eagle haven started painting . It was something we could do as a family to bridge and heal . I'm disappointed jafco is canceling the painting. For is it was healing

Oh my I can't thank you enough. I wanted to write Eagles Haven a thank you because I haven't been out much and teacher painting event was just right for me. I was wound up tight when I got there and soon I was laughing and creating art. It's just what I needed. Thank You!
