• I have been going to this Salon since it was 18|8. After they came out of franchise, they became even better. After moving to the bay area, I tried 4 different hair stylists before settling with Hanan. She is amazing. It is always hard to find someone who can handle think hair. She has her own notes for regular customers and does exactly what I ask for. If I am not satisfied on anything, she doesn't hesitate to take more time and produce a perfect haircut for me. This salon has been troubled by 18|8 while they are trying to get out of the franchise. Their website was taken down from 18|8 and my appointments did not show up. 18|8 removed them from yelp and Google even before they came out of franchise. Most recently, their address on Google Maps is not navigating properly. After all the trouble, the employees (both stylists and receptionists) love their boss and that keeps them rolling. I moving much farther from this salon, but I might still drive here. Yes, it is expensive compared to chain stores, but you get what you pay for. In some places I tip them out of obligation, in this place I tip Hanan because I love my haircuts! I tried stylists from different parts of the country and my review is not an exaggeration.
