• We just moved back to the Lincoln area and I read about Body Nouveaux when googling spas in the area, so I made some appointments. To start with I treated myself to a facial spa day with Meghan Richard; I've waited a couple of weeks to write this review on the treatments I had with her, so I could say how my skin responded post treatment. She started with Dermaplaning to remove dead skin and as a side benefit, all of my peach fuzz! Then I enjoyed her 1 hour signature facial, and finished up with Celluma light therapy. I've had facials at some very nice spa's across the U.S. and this was hands down the nicest one I've ever received!! The techniques Meghan used were fantastic and so incredibly relaxing! Her products smelled amazing and felt wonderful on my face. During the facial, she told me about her Hydrafacial machine, so I made a follow up for the 75 minute Platinum service a week after my facial and all I can say is WOW! I'm pretty sure my face has never been cleaner!! She showed me the water after the service to show me all of the gunk that was extracted....it was brown water! To say my face felt clean and refreshed is an understatement. This service isn't as relaxing as her signature facial, but I feel it is more for treatment for your face than what a regular facial might be. I'm someone who's face tends to break out after treatments and get super super dry. I had essentially back to back treatments and my face never broke out (I feel like the Celluma light therapy helped with that somewhat). The area under my jawline where she treated it has tightened up and looks so much better, I have a sunspot on my cheek and that lightened up; my skin just looks and feels better. My husband keeps telling me my skin looks great and he asked if I changed my makeup! I will definitely make Meghan's signature facial and the Hydrafacial a part of my regular skin routine now. I highly recommend her and her services! I also had a 90 minute relaxing massage with Meghann (yup, there are 2 Meghan(n)'s, that's all you need to remember!). This was another fantastic experience. I'm someone who gets monthly massages, so I'm so happy I don't need to try other places to find a great therapist! She had me so relaxed and was able to work on sore areas in my neck and shoulder without causing soreness afterwards. She is very professional, knowledgeable and incredibly skilled in the art of massage therapy. I highly recommend her as well! Make an appointment with these gals, you won't be disappointed!
