About Aerial Yoga

Aerial yoga is a combination of traditional yoga poses done on the floor, and postures practiced using a soft fabric “trapeze” (called a “sling”) suspended at waist height. This is the same fabric that aerialists use in the circus, but in aerial yoga our body weight is distributed between the fabric and the floor, allowing us to access traditional yoga postures in new ways.


Many newcomers enjoy working with the sling because with the help of gravity there is very little pressure or stress on the joints, especially the spine. Inversions are accessed easily with no strain on the neck, back, or shoulders.


Gravity eases us into optimal alignment with very little effort, and deep postures can be accessed through relaxation and deep breathing. Our relaxation response is heightened by the unique sensations accessed in aerial yoga.
Strength-Hanging in the sling makes our core muscles fire. It is so much fun you don’t even realize what a great workout you’re getting. Transitioning in and out of the aerial yoga postures builds upper body strength, and resting in the postures heightens relaxation for a balanced effort overall.

Hatha Yoga


Begin to awaken your body in this gentle Yoga class, gradually gaining flexibility and mobility through stretching the body and stabilizing breath. Each class will include stretching and essential yoga poses. Beginners will love the pace and guidance; experienced yogis will refine and deepen their practice.



Join Parashakti Jill Jardine for a healing Kundalini Yoga class . Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness, and is fast and effective way to clear the mind, energize the body and uplift the spirit . Kundalini yoga classes use breath, movement , mantra and meditation to heal body, mind, spirit. Each class consists of a "Kriya" which is a series of postures taught in sequence to produce a desired effect.
Kundalini Yoga benefits include: builds core strength, increase flexibility in mind and body, strengthens the immune system and nervous system, creates mental and emotional balance and so much more.
Parashakti Jill has been teaching yoga for 26 years and is certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She has M.A in Counseling psychology and is a Reverend in Sanskrit Mantra, the Yoga of Sound.

Weekend Warrior Flow- Beginning with traditional salutations to get the blood flowing after a long week, this class will combine traditional yoga that challenges the body and the mind. Learning to be calm and accepting during challenges on the mat so that we can become more calm and accepting off the mat. The class will finish with 15 minutes of restorative poses. This class is suitable for all levels.



Yin Workshop


Yin-Yang Flow


Yin/Yang Flow- Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue, which usually does not get reached during a more fast pace practice. For 30 minutes you will hold poses for one to five minutes and experience the effects of opening fascia and being in stillness. The second part of the class complements the Yang practice with a movement practice that develops muscular strength, stamina and flexibility. This class is suitable for all levels.
