To be honest I am very picky about who I let do my hair. As an African American my hair can sometimes be challenging for people who are not familiar with my type of hair. I had an awful and embarrassing experience in college over 10 years ago and vowed never to go to a shop that didn't specialize in Black hair care. A friend of mine however recently said she, on a whim, went to Blo Blow Dry Bar and got Johnny. She said her hair was the straightest it's ever been. I was skeptical but I figure I would try it out and ask for Johnny. The shop is way closer than my usual shop and the price was much more affordable. Needless to say I was impressed with Johnny 's work. He straightened my hair as good as my regular stylist and he didn't even use a pressing comb. In fact, his work was significantly better than the stylist I occasionally see at JC Penny's. On icing on the cake was that he finished in half the time I am used to.
