Blo Blow Dry Bar

I'm so happy to have a new blowout spot within walking distance of my new place! They've just opened and I took advantage of their opening week special - $29 for a blowout. Yes, please!

The shop is incredibly adorable and pristine. When I walked in I was greeted in the friendliest way possible, they hung my coat and handed me a mimosa, as well! Awesome! My stylist was very sweet, making sure to handle my hair exactly as I was expecting. Actually all the staff at this location is just fantastic!

Back to the blowout, I'm not picky so picked a style from their Look Book and let her go with it. She was great about my blond tresses and used a purple shampoo that smelled divine! I swear the best part about blowouts are the scalp massages. I live for those couple minutes!

My blowout was on Saturday so I'm on Day 3 and my hair still looks great & is softer than it's been in awhile. I'm truly pleased with my results at Blo!

My only small issue is that I was waiting 25 minutes past my appointment time. It wasn't overly busy but they only have two wash bowls which I think was part of the hold up. I'm a city girl on the go so hoping that's just a fluke opening week delay that doesn't happen consistently. I will most definitely be back for blowouts though so will keep things updated if that continues.

What a fantastic blow out with Xander! My mom and I came here for pre lunch hair fun and we both walked out with perfectly blown out tasseled tresses! I loved the way Xander did my hair (perfect) and Victoria did my mother's perfectly.

We will definitely be back soon for another fun hair

I usually get blowouts every week but I stopped due to covid. As a results my hair was a hot mess.

My stylist was great! Asked lots of questions about my preferences and was overall very pleasant.

This blow dry bar knows how to handle all hair types. I love the way I'm greeted and the service is amazing every single time! Leeamar is my favorite!

I was a Drybar client for many years and when this place opened in my neighborhood I was excited for what I hoped would be my new go to blow dry joint.

My hopes and prayers were answered --- hallelujah! Not only do they have a better overall vibe and consistency of service than DryBar, but they actually answer the phones and the staff seems to be legitimately happy working there.

And even if I wasn't doing a one to one comparison to DryBar, and this was my first experience at a blow dry place, I would still say that it was amazing! Thumbs up and welcome to the neighborhood, Blo!

Best chic blow out spot in Wicker park with lovely interiors. Professional, friendly and quick. Loved the style and suggestions from the stylist Tiffany. Definitely going to go here more often.

Helpful and friendly staff, I had never gotten a blow out before and got one before my bachelorette party to treat myself. The woman working with me gave me tips on how to maintain my blow out and keep it lasting all night. They also have small and regular sized products to buy that they use on you.

Great friendly staff. Was in town for a wedding and looking to book a last minute appointment. They were able to squeeze my mother and I in that day which was great. Stylists were personable and attentive. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick easy blowout in that area.
