I have been to many blow dry bars but this is the first time I've been to one where they use a flat iron more than the blow dryer. They also used a ton of products in my hair so it was pretty stiff when I left. Overall the outcome of my hair looked great it is just that I've been to blow dry bars where they only use the blow dryer and are able to tame and wave hair perfectly with brushes and a blow dryer And you are left with volumous soft wavy hair. Flat iron and products used gave me the waves and no frizz but lacked volume and felt stiff. The only other thing is the price. $40+tip is a New York City price for a suburban middle class location with a job that I'm not sure is worth it. I will most likely go back but next time I will give step by step directions of how I want my hair without the use of a Flat iron and I hope to comment back on the results.

I’m so sorry you weren’t fully satisfied with your style. We use a round brush and hair dryer to do 90% of all our styles. The only time a hot tool is used is if a client requests our Pillow Talk style or if their hair texture requires one. However, we can create any style by any means and can use little to lots of product all dependent on the clients preference :) Please let me know when you stop back in so we can be sure you are 110% satisfied!

Let me start off with saying I hate blow-drying my own hair... so naturally when my mom offered me one of her groupons to use to have someone do that for me, I was all about it. I was really excited because a lot of beauty bloggers talk about blow dry bars and I definitely cannot achieve a good blow out on my own. This wasn't the worst, but it could have been a lot better. Everyone was really sweet and professional, but honestly, if I knew my hair was going to be half-a** blow dried and then curled with a straightener, I would have done it myself. My hair is really long and my stylist used a 1" straightener and PULLED SO HARD to curl my hair, leaving these juvenile spin-y curls. It's just not flattering for long hair. I was hoping to have it styled with the brushes and less so with any hot irons. Also, I watched my styled literally put 4 products in the palm of her hand before into my hair. FOUR! That's not right. I am giving three stars because the service itself was great, but the techniques were poor. I'd actually be willing to go back again (because I hate blow-drying my hair) and try conveying my vision better. But y'all. Come on. Long hair needs beach waves or big curls.

I noticed a lot of people commenting about the use of hot tools. When you arrive, you have seven styles to choose from, some of them require a hot tool, like beach waves, and others don't. I chose one that did not have any added curls to it and she only used a blow dryer and a round brush and it looked great! I just don't see how you can ask for hairstyle with curls and then complain that someone is using a curling iron. I was very happy with my experience and highly recommend having a conversation with the stylist about what you want to achieve and getting a recommendation from her.

Libby did an AMAZING job on my hair and makeup! I normally don't wear a lot of makeup but she made it look so natural. I haven't felt this pretty in a long time! From when I walked in the door everyone was super friendly and inviting. Sometimes getting hair done can be awkward but I felt so comfortable. It was also very clean and professional. I can't wait to have a reason to come back!

We adore and appreciate all of our clients. We will go to every extent possible to please and ensure satisfaction for everyone of them. Our $40 blow out price includes any style from our signature menu. The photo your daughter chose was an a la carte style. The stylist doesn’t keep track of payment or coupons and I brought it to your attention the minute I saw the Groupon. We would have been more than happy to split the difference with you. I apologize if you were unhappy with the pricing however we are very competitive with every salon in the industry.

I'm so sad to hear you are closed. I loved coming here, I always left completely satisfied. Your stylists and staff were always very professional and talented. I live in Akron so this was the closest place to me that offered amazing blowouts at such affordable pricing. I really hope you reopen a location, please come to Fairlawn, Akron, or Cuyahoga Falls!!

Went to Blo as a large group to get our hair done for my sister's wedding reception. They were very accommodating by allowing us to add more people to our appointment slot. Also very accommodating by providing pretty pink champagne flutes and a seating area for our party. All 8 of us left happy and even the ones who have hair that do not hold curls, still had curls at the end of the night. Will definitely be going back to Blo!

Nice place but not impressed. It was my first experience here and the girl that washed my hair and blow dried it was working fast past and heavy handed. I am far from tender headed also. I left loving my hair and was told it will last until I wash it which is typically a couple days. I just wanted it to last till the next day. Well, my hair is frizzy, flat on top and the curls aren't as pretty what so ever and it was only a couple hours. Take your chance. I won't return.

I will start by saying that I have medium length very curly, thick hair. I rarely go to a salon to get a blow out because very few places can manage it and I walk out unhappy and frizzed out. This place gets an A for effort, Julie was my stylist and she worked her tail off to get me to look good. It was not perfect but I walked out looking good and feeling good. They use good products that leave your hair smelling great. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, they will work to make you happy. Btw, I used a Groupon and did not feel treated lesser than other customers.

I haven't had the opportunity to visit yet. I purchased a Groupon and called this morning to make an appointment. While there are appointments available, I cannot come in because they have exceeded the number of Groupon customers for the day. Never heard anything like that. They would rather have open appointments. Sorry I purchased the Groupon.
