On the plus side of things, I really enjoyed my afternoon at Blo, getting pampered. The women that work there are very kind and accommodating, offering drinks of every kind and constantly asking "Is there anything you would like to change about your hair/makeup?" They were also more than willing to make those changes when I had any greivances, and I left a happy customer.
When I got back to my hotel was when everything went haywire. My hair appointment was set for 12:30 and makeup at 1:00 in anticipation for a 4:00 wedding, and by the time we arrived for the ceremony, my hair had already fallen out in two places and my left eye's glued on eyelash was already half-way off. Thankfully I was able to fix my hair throughout the night by taking out and reinserting Bobby pins, but there wasn't anything I could do about my eye.
I felt beautiful nonetheless, but paying $175 for services that lasted me less than 3 hours was very disappointing. I wouldn't necessarily tell other women to avoid this place, but I would be extra aware of the amount of Bobby pins/eyelash glue they use on you so that you don't encounter my same issues.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yasmin S.Redmond, WA448136Aug 25, 2015
I called in very last minute to get a blow out, they accommodated me with out any issues. When I walked in, everyone was super friendly, offered me a beverage. They reviewed the options of looks and then we began.
At one point I realized my parking meter was going to expire so the front desk girl went out and put money in it for me.
The blowout was pretty good and cost $40. I would come here again. Also pay attention they have really good specials.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Lianna A.West Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA282414May 3, 2018
I tried Thai place for the first time on 4/29/18 for a party and I loved it ! The customer service was great! Everyone is so friendly! I forgot the name of the girl that did my hair I think it was Yesneia and she was a sweetheart. Great conversation as she was doing my hair and made my hair look amazing. I was late to the appointment and I told her what time I needed to be out of there and she got me out on time and still my hair looked gorgeous. You can either find parking on the street or in the street and it's free for the first hour. Can't wait to go back to the place !

Requested styling and clip in extensions. Sara hooked me up. She was really sweet and did a great job! The staff is friendly and they offer coffee, water, and champagne while you get pampered. Their prices are very reasonable- my service was $60.

Shout out to Crystal for paying extra special attention to my hair. She really took her time and listened. I'm extremely picky about my hair and always worried about my color being ruined but the shampoo and products. She made sure to use purple shampoo and great products. My blowdry has lasted four days now. She's amazing!

Just a supplement. My partner recently reported to me that she terminated her relationship with the Blo Blow Dry Bar because they raised their prices to $40.00. She located another place for $25.00 that does a very good job.

Hi David,
Yes, we're responsible for her fabulous hair. Guilty as charged! Thanks for this awesome review. We're so happy you love her locks. We hope to continue to blo both of you away. We always have 'blo bros' for our male friends if you ever wanted to join your lady for an awesome pampering session. Maybe see you in bar in the near future? xo, bloJan 20, 2014Previous reviewI used to cringe when my significant other would say she is going to the Dry Bar for a Blow. Her hair would always look mediocre afterwards and never last. I used to tell her to save her money and do her hair herself because most times it looks better on her own. Then I would cringe again when she told me that a Blow at the Dry Bar was 40! OMG--that is outrageous! Who pays that? That is 2 hairstyles for me. What are they doing during that Blow to make it worth 40? Then I would cringe a third time when she told me that at Dry Bar they have a sign on the wall requiring a $10.00 tip? Is this true? The nerve of them! And people actually go there?
Then over a period of time I noticed that her hair was looking better and better and better. SO I asked her if she was still getting "clipped" by the Dry Bar? I wanted to know Who was responsible because her hair was looking as great as ever. And she told me that she stopped going to the Dry Bar a while ago and her last 5 times she has been going to this place in Beverly Hills called Blo Blow Bar.
Then I started to cringe again a bit as I waited for her response as to how much it costs at this new place on Beverly Drive? (I was thinking that it was 50 because her hair looked so great.) I let out a sigh of relief when she told me it was only 30 and no mandatory tip. Whewwww. That's more reasonable. $25.00 would be better, but certainly anything approaching 50 is certifiably insane for a Hair Blow.
[Now if only I had enough hair on my head to justify even a $10 Blow , I may even try the Blo Blow Bar.]
Thank you Blo Blow Dry Bar for making her hair look great! Hope this quality continues and prices stay in check. - Lauren P.Los Angeles, CA109May 23, 2016
the specific salon is clean and the people are very nice but this company is TERRIBLE. I have had issue with booking both by App and their website for months and then I was locked out. Basically I was given all sorts of excuses but their technology does not work and they don't seem concerned about fixing it.
I believe one of the excuses was it will take 3 months to get the app fixed??
I have a large credit balance with them and I have written to the CEO a few times and I have not received one single reply.
The Hollywood branch is worse. I was left waiting outside one Sunday morning because they were late opening, which is not a very nice experience....
I would very much like some one from senior management of this company to reply to my email and request.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Garrison S.Miami, FL10115531115Aug 17, 2014
First and foremost, I did not have my hair done here. Why would I write a review? Well, I had a friend visiting from Australia who had her hair blown here and I got to see the joy they gave her and the results!
So, for $40, you can get a really good blow here and look like a celebrity afterwards. You would think you were in Tinseltown! Wait a minute! In all seriousness, they really know what they are doing and you will not be upset by coming here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Amazing customer service. A++++. While I was getting my blow out, there was a mom with her infant there too. The infant was just being curious George and playing with their biz cards and they were being so sweet!!! I was amazed to see how friendly they were. Yes the baby wasn't crying and annoying anyone but still!!!
So a HUGE shout out to the owner for the above story!
Now about my experience:
BEST BLOW OUT IN LA!!!! Dry bar has a lot to learn from them: How to blow out hair and not just look at the clock and give attitude. This was my second time there and I am amazed.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
