YYC spin is my only workout so when I'm there I maximize the opportunity. I'm at Kensington or Marda Loop 3 times a week and my body, strength and cardio has totally transformed. Instructors are great and are super pumped. Love it!

Unfortunately this place needs to remove the "everybody" inclusiveness in their bio as they are discriminating and segregating people. I enjoyed coming here and the atmosphere but I do not support places who shun groups of people! We do not accept that kind of behaviour. Will take my business elsewhere to someplace that includes EVERYBODY.

I love it here - I always leave every class feeling a million dollars. The energy in this place (fueled by all the amazing instructors) is top notch, the music is great and the lights and choreography get my heart rate right up. This place always feels super inclusive, no matter what size, shape or level you are, I believe you will leave feeling good and proud. Missed these guys so much during Covid and cant wait to continue to see them thrive even more with new locations!!

First time doing a spin class, but the instructor Brady did an amazing job with motivation and just overall welcoming to us. Thanks for such a great experience. I highly recommended it! :)

I have never done a spin class before so I have nothing to go on. My first class was a little confusing, but when you check in you're shown around from the time I filled out forms, to checking out a spin cycle position on the map at the front desk. The front lockers are a little confusing to figure out at first. I didn't find I was given much instruction my first class by the spin instructor. Locking in to the pedals was hard to figure out. Releasing from the pedals was even harder!!! (I actually didn't figure that out until my 2nd class with Erin who demonstrated it.)
They actually want you to go onto their website and watch the video for newbies. It does show you step by step what to do. Check in. Grab your shoes. Pick a spin cycle on the class map. Go change. Lock up belongings. Grab a towel. Grab dumbbells. Put on shoes in the class. Adjust your seat and handle positions. Lock in pedals. Warm up.
Aside from the confusion of being a newbie spin patron, I had so much fun!! The music with Mandy was my type of music. It was fast paced and just got you moving! My legs felt like jelly when I was finished & I was sore for days after! The room is small and I do find you're a little too close to your neighbors so you do tend to hit elbows every once in a while. The room does have air blasting every once in a while so it keeps us nice and cool as much as possible.
When you're done you stretch and are given a wet towel soaked in tea tree to wiped down the handles, seat, and dumbbells. The facility is very clean and well maintained.
If you've never gone, definitely check out their website first to familiarize yourself with their processes. I love how it is all simplified for buying passes and signing up for classes online. All you gotta do is show up! I am so pumped for my next class!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Iris C.Downtown, Calgary, Canada71Dec 1, 2017

Great energy and work out on top of great customer service. Spin has a bit of a 'intimidation factor' but this place really helps that with people that take care of you and show you the ropes. And while you are usually in there with a bunch of 20 somethin's - there are lots of (us) older peeps that are there sweating it out.

Awesome work out, my alternative to running on really cold days. The motivators are truly motivating, I've never had a wasted workout here- always drenched in sweat and feeling amazing with every class I have taken. Between the music and actual work outs- love going to this studio!! Great work!
