Every experience at Xanadu has been wonderful, positive and inviting. I have been going there for years. Mark and his staff are helpful especially when I wasn't sure about the injections I was having done. I had three different ladies. I have returned feeling sure that I was in great hands.
My Aunt from Florida recently visited me and wanted to get a lift she's 70 she was hesitant to do more than her cheeks, but needed a lip lift really, she said NO all the way there in the car. " I am not doing my lip's no way!!" Well, she met with Alexis and she felt so comfortable with how Alexis explained to her she would have a subtle change that would enhance her look and her husband of
55 years would love it but not really notice a huge change. My aunt was convinced that if did this she would look like she did THAT to her face. Like the ladies in FLORIDA that have overdone it she said:)

Take your own before and after pictures if you're doing anything physical. That's all I have to say about this place.

Yes, for $5k I expected the results I was assured would happen. That's a lot of money to me and I saved up for it. I took my own pics. I took measurements. I never met you, Mark, so you don't know what the rest of me looks like. You don't know that my stomach looks like that because I had a traumatic birth and nearly died. So when I asked your people what my expectations could be because laser resurfacing did not help with the looseness, they told me I'd see good results. The procedure did not meet that.
Mark, I literally left this here because you keep coming back to the Google one. Keep responding here, I'll be glad to find another place to give a bad review. Lyndsey. It has been almost a year since you were here. I gather you were hoping for a larger physical transformation than you got, but truly, your outcomes (and before and after pictures) actually show good results for the treatment you received. Your provider advocated that you showed a positive response when you initially saw them. I'm not sure what has changed since then. Your quest to make a statement here and on google is evident. Why your vengence comes almost a year later is a little confusing. We have dozens and dozens of beautiful before and after photos to show anybody who would like to see the power of the treatment you received. No - it doesn't create a miracle. But it doesn't claim to either. But the results are actually quite evident. As I have said before. I am truly sorry you aren't satisfied with what you got.

First of all, I only got basic cleaning face. After resulted, I dont see anything change and I can see still dirty deep inside and I paid Groupon and the front lady said 40.00 tips on fine print. I was like whoa! For real I never have an experiences that company have to force customer to pay 40.00 tips if using Groupon. People go find other place. Its not even worth it for that price that I see no difference. Place is very pretty but the front desk lady is not friendly and demand 40.00 SMH! DONT BE STUPID, DONT BUY GROUPON. Again, Go find other place.

Please read through the replies left by the owner Mark on 1 star reviews here and on Google before scheduling anything. Talk about hostile "customer service."
EDIT: Oh Mark. I'm sure every single one of those reviews was completely made up for the sake of "vendettas" (didn't realize you were Bruce Wayne). You overcorrect to the point of embarrassment for your business. I think it's pretty obvious why most reputable business owners (with expertise) don't practice these hostile communication practices with customers. I hope you improve for your own sake.
Couldn't agree more with Christy H, and each edit and reply you make just confirms our assessment of you. But sure, agree to disagree.
(And in case anyone reading is curious, Mark had his staffer call me to argue when I left a 3 star review on his website after this staffer Alexis did not clean injection sites--yeah, I gave THREE STARS for UNSAFE INJECTIONS. Generous I thought! But you can see in his replies that accountability is not something this business believes in, but would rather accuse paying customers of having vendettas or a "different reality." So go here if you want unsafe injections and also phone calls and sprawling, rambling messages from the owner accusing you of being the one in the wrong if, god forbid, you have any negative feedback.)Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 2Business owner information

EDIT: You completely have missed the point and are turning it into something that it is not intended to be. And a vendetta is only one issue that I've pointed out below. There are many issues that can occur. It is clear you are not going to stop until you can twist it your way Rachel. We are going to have to agree to disagree.
Yes, I really do hope they are read, that is the point. If a staff member of mine is falsely accused of something - or somebody has a vendetta of some sort - or there is mistruth... it is my responsibility to provide a response. And I believe it should be a thorough response so as to clear up misconceptions. On the flip side, if a staff member does something wrong, they have to be held accountable. Just ask any number of staff that no longer work for me. It works both ways. Sometimes the staff is wrong. And sometimes they aren't. But I will defend them every day when they are falsely accused of something. I take what we do here very seriously and client care is at the top of that list. We bend over backwards to take the very best care of our clients ensuring health and safety along the way. A one star review is never anything we want to receive. If I could give Xanadu no stars, I would. Before booking my appointment, I read through their website to be sure there was nothing else I needed to do. A few days before my appointment, I received an automatic email that my appointment had been canceled with no other communication. I called in to inquire and was told they had to "move me to another provider" because of a system error and they booked me a consult in addition. I asked twice if my regular appointment to have the service done was still in place and was told yes. If the aftercare and consult were so important, why didn't the person who I talked to stress that? I stressed that I had a tight timeline so I needed to be sure.
Took time off of work and showed up to my appointment on time. I was told that they could only do the consult and there was nothing they could do otherwise.
Completely disappointing experience and a waste of my time. I had an opportunity to book with my normal salon and should have taken it!
EDIT: The owner responded below with a whole bunch of BS. No message was ever left for me - I have double and triple-checked. Not sure why I would have to take an antiviral when I've never had a cold sore (unsafe? Quite a word to use here). The owner's response says all I need to know about their customer service. I think it is very important that the accurate information is provided here. On March 8th a VERY detailed message was left for you outlining the fact that you would need to be on an antiviral BEFORE being treated. Additionally, that you would choose your shade/color and that the clinician would go over post treatment details (like you can't swim for 10 days) at the pre-procedure consultation, etc. Of course you couldn't be treated today BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SAFE. Not because anybody was doing anything to cause a poor customer service experience for you. Unfortunately you clearly didn't listen to that message or you would have known and understood all of this before even coming in the door today. Now, the reason there was no communication about the cancellation is because nobody intentionally cancelled the appointment. We aren't sure if that was a glitch in the booking software or an accident by one of the young gals up front, but it was never the intention for the appt to be canceled. Luckily you responded to the email you got and called to fix it. Thank you for that. And remember, it is very important that we keep you safe - therefore you could not be treated today. Even when a client is irritated by that fact, we can't compromise your health and safety just because you get upset. That would be highly irresponsible on our part.

I saw Spencer for a massage and I can tell you he is AMAZING. I had asked for someone that is good at deep tissue massage and they told me Spencer would be perfect. They were right. Spencer is very knowledgeable about injuries, and knows his anatomy. He is way more knowledgeable and experienced than the average massage therapist. I will be seeing him again and he has earned a client for life.
I had an injury over 18 months ago and I am confident I finally found a massage therapist that will have the passion and skill set to help me. I highly recommend him and I am so happy that I found him.

Edit: thank you for the reply, but the last thing anyone would want to do in my situation is go back to the same person to "talk about it". It wasn't accidental, she was careless. If that is your best solution for all this, then no thank you. I would've accepted an offer to see someone else, but it's not my responsibility to fix this issue with that particular employee.
I've been getting Botox since the early 2000's. I know what works for my face and what I like to see. I've had a few experiences at Xanadu over the years, always good. I had my second appointment ever with Alexis and was so excited because she had done a great job once before. I check in, she comes out, ready to leave for the day. They tell her she has one more appointment and she is confused, complaining that I wasn't on the schedule. I mentioned that I had made the appointment 3 weeks before...she is clearly not happy.
So we go back and she is in such a hurry. I've never had such a fast injection. It's like she was dotting me with a pen. Fast forward a few weeks. The Botox has set in and the major area I asked to have treated, the glabella (angry 11's) has been weighted down by the heavy amount she hastily put in my upper forehead. Both times I had been there I told her that I like to be able to raise my eyebrows, so go easy up above. She did it perfectly the first visit. Now it is 2 months after the rushed job she did, I still cannot raise my eyebrows and my glabella is worse (weighed down) than it is without Botox. I don't know about the rest of the staff, I would just not recommend Alexis. First appointment or last appointment of the day shouldn't matter; I deserved better treatment. It was only another ten minutes out of her day. There is really nothing I could do at any point but just wait it out. I decided to leave this review after seeing the owner's responses to negative reviews. It appears he is in the business of attempting to intimidate rather than make it right with the customers who had a bad experience one time. Angela. I am so sorry that this was your experience. I am not sure why Alexis thought she was done for the day, I apologize for that. You made the comment that you deserve better. I would agree. You certainly deserve to feel like your needs are the utmost important at that moment and that you are being taken care of to the highest degree. I spoke with Alexis about it so she understands the bigger picture here and will work to not make people feel rushed moving forward. Please know that there may be some things that she can do to offset the situation, but that is hard to determine without seeing you. I would encourage you to make an appointment to come in and talk to her about it so she can see it and fully assess it. I hope we can make it right for you. I am very gratified to see that you really enjoyed your first interaction with Alexis. It shows me she is more than capable of making you feel good about the experience. -Mark

I would strongly urge you to not give this place your trust or business. Per Xanadus first suggestion I purchased $1650.00 worth of Botox and filler (one of their Christmas "specials"). I went in to get my services done and then was told that I should do the Opus treatment and would need to purchase a total of three Opus treatments. I did one Opus treatment and it completely undid all of my Botox, hundreds of dollars worth that I had done at Xanadu. I requested a refund for the cash I had left over and Mark, the owner, refused. He told me I would have to use it there. They completely messed up my Botox. My eye lids are very heavy and they told me they couldn't correct them and that I just have to wait it out. I've never been so disappointed and dissatisfied with a business. It literally was like throwing all of that money away and then getting messed up Botox and still needing more to get back to where I was before. This place is a joke and would never suggest it to a friend again. I also fixed a friends wax that was done at Xanadu just after all of this nonsense. It was her armpits, bikini and full leg. They left huge patches of hair all over her after running out of wax. Once again, I would not recommend Xanadu. It's been a complete nightmare!! They also changed one of my appointment times without even asking so I ended up waiting and then missed my doctors appointment that was after. I feel bad for the front desk staff because it's such a mess. Don't do it.

I am really frustrated to see this here because there is so much more to this story. We bent over backwards. But somewhere a person needs to take responsibility for their own actions and place in a situation. Knowing everything i did to make Christine happy and then to see this is heart breaking. Yes, she may have purchased too much botox at the holiday event. That was her choice. Yes. She wanted to convert it to another treatment - and I graciously allowed it even though that is not normal protocal. YES, to see the full effect of many many treatments, you need multiple. That is is the case of Opus and we are always forthright about that (BTW you should see the before and after photos of people who actually do all three). To not do what you are guided to do, well, we can't do anything about that. You need to invest in yourself. And if you are only going to partially invest, you truly are better off just saving your money until you are ready to do so. As for waxing, it's not even something we do very much of - there are a lot of cheap day spas for that. We simply have it available for those that want it - but never promote or encourage it. Somehow the description sound a bit exaggerated from frustration.

I have been going to Xanadu for over a year and mostly see Melanie for botox, however, i've also seen many other staff for botox. They are all great! I have also gone for a massage with Griffy a few times, and she is amazing! Totally recommend this spa to anyone looking for somewhere with knowledgeable and kind staff!
