Carrie Phillips, LMT is the reason that one week after my hip replacement I traded in my walker for a quad cane, and two weeks later ditched THAT for a regular cane, and then was cane-free one month post-op. Tekia was great. Because of my size, I always get deep tissue massages. I was skeptical of her being able to give me the firm amount of pressure that I li ke on my muscles, but she was awesome. I didn't want to get up when she was done.
