Stephanie takes the time to listen to my aches and pains so she knows where to concentrate. She asks about my activities and understands how I use my body. The environment is very comfortable and relaxing.

General confusion with the mask wearing was frustrating in the beginning. I verified before coming that bringing my vaccine card would make it so I didn't have to wear a mask. When I arrived I was told Amalie was a therapist that didn't see clients without masks. Someone at the front said something about pulling my mask down while face down but I didn't think much about it. Next thing I was told was my massage couldn't be done due to the mask thing. I had no problem wearing the mask I just let the front desk know I was told one thing and another happened. Then someone up front said something to Amalie about the face down mask thing which was not my idea and I really didn't care either way yet my massage was in danger of being canceled. It made for a very awkward beginning when you are about to trust someone to work on your body that is almost naked and in pain. Nevertheless Amalie ended up being great. She took the time to help me with very painful areas and was sure to check in with me if I was able to handle the pressure. She was very personable and I would see her again to help me through my pain. She turned what started as a very negative and confusing experience to a very positive experience. I think it would help customers to put in their online profiles or to let them know up front about their need for customers to wear a mask or not. I really didn't care because the time got my schedule well and I wear masks all the time but the awkward situation it created at the time I did care about.
