This was my first time visiting Well Into Life and it was amazing. The massage I received from Elexiss prior to my powerlifting competition was a great decision. She alleviated my muscle tension and tightness which helped to enhance my flexibility and range of motion. It played a pivotal role in improving my performance and readiness for the competition. I highly recommend incorporating pre-competition massages for any athlete aiming to optimize their physical condition and excel in their sport.

Wonderful massage therapy services. The reception area has a variety of products for sale and is a peaceful, clean space to unwind before your massage. The whole facility was very tastefully decorated, and warm and inviting. The restroom was very well appointed with actual little towels rather than paper towels. The massage rooms are peaceful. The tables are warm and the linens soft and clean. They have a variety of massages. The hot stones are wonderful to loosen tight muscles. I have booked with several different massage therapists over the years and have not been disappointed. The whole experience is rejuvenating. This is a great place to book your next massage.

I was in the Richmond area for the weekend. Going to see the comedian Arnez J on Friday night. I decided to schedule a massage for Saturday. I found the Well into Life. John did a fabulous job with a 90 minute massage. I was so relaxed and everything felt so good. Pressure was perfect. I can't wait until I am back in the area so I can schedule another one. He was amazing. Thank you.

I have never had a bad experience at Well into Life! All the massage therapists have been excellent and have done a fantastic job! They are open every day and are open pretty much all day every day! I have always left with much less muscle tension and feel so much more relaxed!

First, Stephanie is amazing! The atmosphere is great, very clean and relaxing, and everyone is very friendly. Also, because there are so many therapists it is easy to find the perfect fit. Be sure to check the new customer discount.

I can't tell if their massage therapy is any good because I made an appt. as a first time customer. I was called back to confirm my appt. by an employee. I confirmed wanted a 5:00 appt, and was assigned to Christopher. I couldn't finish the call as we had bad service, but it was clearly confIrmed I had a 5:00 appointment THAT DAY.
I called back 2x within approx. 20 minutes to complete the additional information request (my fun name, address, etc.). No one answered either call, and I was put into the voicemail system, where I said please call me back so I can provide the info requested for my 5:00 appt. today.
NEVER received a return call ! I when arrived early I was told I had no appt. and was told they had not received a voice mail or any record of me calling back. Those were both lies. I left a voice mail, and my phone shows the 2 return outgoing calls to them.
The wasn't for a pleasure massage. This was for a massage to alleviate severe back pain. I lost an hour of MY billable company time, and now will be leaving town without having had the ability to get some relief for my back.
I know things happen, but lying, and no return calls speak to very poor customer service. They dropped the ball, and attempted to deny what they'd done.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you Mark for your review. We take reviews (both positive and not-so-positive) very seriously and use them to make improvements in our business. First of all, let me apologize for not being about to see you when you came in. I can totally understand the frustration, especially when you were really needing the massage that day. I can tell you sincerely that we would have loved to have provided you with that massage. Our business needs appointments and we try to make as many of them as possible. And we're in the business of providing relief to our clients, so we're very sorry that we weren't able to do that for you at that time. I've looked into your situation and I can see that we spoke with you in the morning about making an appointment for you at 5:00pm. We explained that we needed to get certain information from you before we could confirm your appointment. At that time you stated that you needed to check your schedule before you could commit (I'm paraphrasing). You called again a little later in the day and it appears as though there were some phone connection issues and asked if you could call back. You called back again and spoke with another one of our front desk associates, but again, you needed to call us back... it seemed like something came up on your end that prevented a longer conversation. During this call we did let you know that the 5:00 appointment was still available, but you still did not provide us with the information we needed to secure your appointment. We absolutely did not confirm your appointment. We could not have confirmed an appointment without having your information to set up your profile in our system and without having credit card information to secure your appointment. As you even stated in your review that you had not yet provided the information we needed (thus the need for the callback/voice-mail that you referenced). We had never sent you any confirmation via text, email, or otherwise. I know you stated that you called again and left a voice-mail but unfortunately, for whatever reason, our phone application didn't show that this happened, so we had nothing to respond to. I'm not saying you didn't leave a voice-mail, I'm just saying that if you did, we didn't see that you did in our phone application. From our perspective, you had just not called us back. So we assumed you didn't want to provide the information needed to secure your appointment (that actually does happen quite often, especially with providing credit card information). Please know that we are not lying about this as you mentioned, and I'm very sorry that it had appeared to you as an example of poor customer service. I know these days, poor customer service is rampant,.. so I understand the frustration. We're following up with our phone service provider to see if there are issues that need to be addressed with our voice-mails. If you experienced this, then there's certainly a chance that other customers are as well. When you came in to our office around 5:00 you were told that you didn't have an appointment at 5:00, but that we could see you at 6:30 that same day (assuming you could provide the information we needed for your profile). Unfortunately, this time didn't work for you. Again, I understand the frustration and I'm sorry things worked out the way they did. We would love for an opportunity to make things right with you. Perhaps if you could let us know if you're willing to give us another chance by emailing us at customerservice@wellintolife.com. Thank you again for letting us know about your experience at our business and we hope we might be able to provide the high level of service that we believe our clients deserve.

It's not your fault. Apparently it's a Virginia requirement that the client be covered in a certain way. I am used to Florida where there is more open. Certain important areas were completely avoided.

Hi Steven, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, however, yes, we do strictly adhere to Virginia requirements regarding client coverage/draping, etc... I'm sorry if your experience was not what you were accustomed to getting in Florida. I understand how this might be frustrating for you. Perhaps you might have a better experience with a different type of massage, like a Sports Massage, that incorporates stretching along with deep tissue techniques, or perhaps Thai Massage, which also incorporates stretching. I came across this massage spot through group on. Very glad I chose to visit Well Into Life. The massage was great. Best massage I've had so far. My massage therapist was Cathy, she was professional, friendly, and did such a good job overall. I will be back!

First time client here. I checked the website this morning and discovered there was one appointment available with Amalie (so nice to be able to go online to see if there are any openings!). I called up and booked it. So glad I could get in on such short notice. I having been having chronic pain off and in for years with my neck. Amalie was great, very personable and listened to me regarding my symptoms and concerns. She concentrated most of the time on my main areas of pain. I hope I can find a way to fit this into the budget more regularly! The space was beautifully decorated! The massage room was very large and nicely appointed as well. A first class establishment!
