Ear Candling

Earwax candling; also called coning or auricular candling, involves inserting a specially designed candle into the ear canal. The candle is made of unbleached linen paraffin soaked in paraffin. The wax-soaked cloth is rolled into a tapered tube approximately 10 to 12 inches long. The narrow end of the tube is inserted into the ear canal and lit. Earwax candles work in two ways: The burning candle creates a vacuum, and the smoke enters the ear canal, softening the wax and loosening debris caught in the ear. Ear Candling says the smoke seeps through the eardrum and dissolves mucus and other impurities in the sinus passages, turning the debris into a gaseous substance that is then drawn through the eardrum by the negative pressure created by the burning candle. The earwax and impurities collect in the unburned portion of the tube. It can also promote ear wax to come to the surface over the next few weeks following; and therefore become easier to remove.

A Facial is a relaxing and rejuvenating process that addresses many issues in a single session such as; Anti-aging, Acne, Acne Scarring, Dark Spots, and the over-all health and appearance of the skin. To meet the specific needs of each client, all facials can be adjusted. The usual process begins with a deep cleansing of face, neck, and upper chest area. Followed by exfoliation, steam, a mask is then applied that target the client specifically. Then tone, rejuvenating moisture with facial massage, a sonic treatment of the surrounding eye area. Then a quality SPF is applied for protection. During the steam and mask processes, the client may receive a light touch massage of the upper extremities and neck area. If needed and client desired, extractions are included. This process is about 1 hour.
