As it was my first time at a gym I have nothing to compare it too but the staff were all friendly, helpful and able to accommodate for my injuries.
Was made feel comfortable, and was understood with regards to physical condition.
The trainer interaction, the welcoming feeling when you walk in, the basis of the training being around functional fitness.

In saying that, it's the only gym I have been to.
