I use to get my lashes done here and I am so glad that I stopped going. At Vixen they charge you for gel pads, which is ridiculous! Instead you get taped. around your eyes and when the lash tech pulls the tap off, it hurts! The chairs in their room are the ones you could buy for your living room, not very professional. You have to pay extra to get all your lashes done, they go off of percentages also shouldn't be like that. Lashes barely lasted a week and tangled up a bunch. Do not recommend, save your money and go else where!

Under New Ownership -- Unaccommodating!
First, I want to be clear that the lash service provided by Amber was first rate.
Most often, I'm against posting a negative review on any establishment.
In the case of Vixen Lashes I asked for the name of the new owner so that I could write her privately but was informed that she didn't want to hear from me.
But when I have to lie back in a chair for an hour or two to have my lashes done, I hope to relax in a soothing spa environment and not be forced to listen to jarring rock music more conducive to a fast food establishment. And I had no ear plugs with me.
If my session would be for an hour or two how hard would it be for management to play some soothing background music just till my session was finished, I'd paid and left.
But instead, I was told that I was free to take my business elsewhere -- which translates that if anyone reading this review has a less than satisfactory experience with this lash salon their response will be: "You are free to take your business elsewhere!"

I'm sorry it didn't work out between us. It is our policy that we can't change the music continuously for the hundreds of different clients we have. I truly hope you find a lash salon better suited for you!

As an older woman my lashes look soft and natural and a whole lot better than mascara -- I love this salon and I love their service!

My eyes look pretty and soft and that's the look I was seeking -- no one has asked me "Who does your lashes?" Subtle and as natural looking as possible only prettier than nature blessed me with -- and that's just what I was given. "Jessica" worked on me and gave me exactly what I requested -- a soft lovely lash look that might look like I have mascara on but no one has asked me where I had my lashes done. It looks very, very close to natural and I am very pleased!!! I would highly recommend Vixen Lashes!

I reached out and the new management is awesome. They were super helpful and wanted to make sure I was happy. The vibe is definitely so much better with the new management, and my lash lady, Ashley, was SO sweet. Definitely recommend now that they have new owners.

When it was finally over, my lashes were nice, but very sparse for it taking 3 hours. I booked a fill 2 weeks out, but after like 5 days almost all of my lashes had fallen out. Keep in mind I paid THREE hundred dollars for these. I've had lash extensions many times before, so I know how to take care of them, but they still almost all fell out before a week had passed. I decided to give them a second chance and booked a fill for the next day since they were almost gone. They looked sparse again once she was finished, but I just wanted lashes so I didn't care. Again, after a little under a week almost all of them had fallen out again. I don't recommend going here. I went to Aussie lashes and spa today and the lashes she gave me were AMAZING. Don't get me wrong, the ladies are very nice, i just feel like I wasted almost $400 dollars getting my lashes done there.

I would stay far away from this place. I just got off the phone with the clerk and am spitting nails. They may have good techs, but they are sorely lacking in customer service. What happened was I tried to cancel and reschedule for the following week and called in 23 hours and 30 minutes before my booked time. Because of this, they will be charging me 50% of the visit due to the fact I called in within the 24-hour time. I was 30 minutes late in calling. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! They just lost someone who sees them every 2 weeks for JUST 30 MINUTES? The clerk wouldn't let me talk to the manager and kept reiterating over and over and over again "that is our policy, ma'am, because we have to protect our tech's time". By the time this went around on the 5th turn, I was yelling. I have owned a business for 25 years and I have always bent over backwards to keep my customers coming back. That is why my business has thrived for so long. Customer service - what Vixen is sorely lacking.

Our policy is less than 24 hours notice needs to be charged 50% of the service as a cancellation fee so they were simply just following protocol. We did not charge your card anything.

So Savannah doesn't work at vixen anymore. So go to 444Lashes by Sav in Greeley. That's her new place! I went to vixen after she left and the girl (I can't remember her name) didn't do as good of a job as her.

not happy with them at all somthing has been up with this place since renovation new people are awful they book appointments with out u knowing or consent then charge you the craziest thing is I've been going here almost over two years an now I'm having to find better. that's ok change is good :)

This review was a long time coming, and very well deserved!
I started getting my lashes done in Sept. 2016 for my birthday. I continued getting my lashes done until COVID ramped up in April/June 2020. I would continue to go now that Vixen has reopened, but unfortunately a new car payment keeps me away.
*Note that I can only speak on their lash services, as that's all I typically got done.
During these ~3.5 years, I fell in love with Vixen and the service they provide. The lash techs are very well trained, are detail oriented, knowledgeable about the ins and outs, and genuinely care that you're comfortable and happy with your service:
Whenever I asked questions about product ingredients, they knew right off the bat or were able to provide me with information during my appointment.
Whenever I expressed discomfort, I was either tended to immediately or provided compensation for the issue.
Whenever I had schedule conflicts, they worked to get me in ASAP and with a technician I could afford (they price by experience level). **Do keep in mind they charge for cancellations.
During these ~3.5 years, I had made my rounds with different techs thanks to a crazy schedule and college student budget. I've been helped by Rayshella, Jacque, Megan and Chelsea. All were amazing and were able to give my the style of lash I desired (natural looking, cat-eye shape). If any of these techs are still at this salon, try for them! Though I wouldn't doubt any tech's ability, even if they're "Level 1."
I was also very happy they provided adhesive options. Their strongest adhesive is recommended, however, the fumes were a bit too strong for me so I opted for the 'sensitive' glue. It was less strong/my lashes fell out a bit sooner, but it didn't irritate my eyes.
The prices for lashes are fair compared to local competition. I paid about $55-$65 for a touch up every 3-4 weeks depending on which tech I booked, with tip. I've looked elsewhere and have seen other price points ranging from $70-$90. As a college student with a budget, trust that I did my research for the best deal.
Would highly recommend snagging the lash cleanser and using as directed. The lash mister/humidifier is also a must if you live in CO (it's DRY). They help keep them on for a bit longer and made a noticeable difference for me!
The building itself is cute and tidy. It's small but they make good use of the space. The chairs you sit in for services are extremely comfortable. The music selection is always on point. Very relaxing atmosphere. I've fallen asleep a handful of times. Parking is OK but that isn't their fault.

Easy scheduling, great pricing (love the tier system), and super nice staff. I was particularly impressed with Ashley at the front desk. She is super knowledgeable, helpful, and kind.
The chairs are comfy and it's surprisingly quiet in there, which is great since you can be lying there for quite awhile if you're getting a full set of lashes and/or multiple services.
