What a hidden gem of DC. Belinda and Yalem are both amazing and so patient and kind. I have a lot of upper shoulder and back pain and they both do such an excellent job of listening to what I need from the session and work on problem areas all while frequently checking in to make sure I'm okay. I never feel better than when I leave a session provided by one of these two ladies. They're the best!

I treated boyfriend to a birthday afternoon of hoopla which included a couple's massage. My criteria included a place with great reviews, in walking distance of our place and workable timing. Unwind Wellness hit the mark!
Scheduling an appointment was smooth and easy upon calling. We were greeted warmly by two therapists, male and female(you can specify by gender or by therapist specifically) and invited to follow. The studio is located in a fantastic brownstone sort of building. The room was set up with two tables and we began our massages! I prefer a harder hand than bf and it seems like we both got what we wanted. I booked 60 minutes, but I'd definitely go 90 next time! As we prepared to leave, the lovely manager offered me a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate bf and his birthday! Nice touch! I booked the session two weeks out for a Saturday at 4:30. At the time of the booking the whole day was available. Two days before the appointment , the company texted me and said they needed to move my appointment up to 4:15. I called and they said 4:15 was the only time they had available and they wouldn't be able to push the appointment back. So I agreed to the 4:15 time period and asked how much of a grace period I would have and they said 4:25 was okay for my arrival. I arrived at 4:20, my Fiancé arrived after me around 4:40, due to parking. With us being late, I expected our 90minute session to be reduced. They still allowed us to get the massage even though we were late, it's just ended up being 60 minutes which we appreciated. The massage chair was heated which was great because it was so cold outside. My Fiancé fall asleep so that means he enjoyed his massage.
1578461May 7, 2023We had a wonderful couples massage here. I took my husband for his birthday and he ended up snoring for 3/4 of the appt. I knew my massage was going to be good when the masseuse had all fours on me pressing on all of the right pressure points. Job well done! We'll be back.

I came to Unwind Wellness while visiting DC for MDW. I have been getting really bad headaches from knots in my neck and shoulders so I needed to get this fixed. I looked up a lot of different places and this one seemed to have the best reviews and professional so I decided to give it a try.
I am so glad I did! All of the staff were really friendly and the whole environment was very calming. The massage was fantastic. I just got the 30 min massage, which is cool they offer that. Most places just have 1 hr or more, so this was easier to fit into my schedule.
I left feeling so relaxed and with no more neck and shoulder pain. If you are looking for a place to get a massage I would check them out!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0

One star is based on the office staff.
I booked a massage here and then had a family emergency and called to reschedule a day prior. They rescheduled to the following day, but it soon became apparent that the emergency situation would not resolve as quickly as anticipated and so I called back (later that same day) to try to reschedule to another day the following week.
Even though it was still 12 hours prior to the appointment and within the cancel/reschedule window, the manager (Maria) said I could not change the appointment a second time.
