So clean, so spacious, and such great service! Front desk is always friendly and ask how the service went.

I used to like this place until recently. I Normally get lower legs done which is knee caps and down; but when there is left over wax I ask the waxer to wax 2 inches over the knee cap - which they are happy to do because a) there is barely any growth b) it needs one wax application. This time when I asked the waxer, she refused and acted like I asked her to jump over the cliff; even after I mentioned that this has never been a problem and they discard the remaining wax anyway.
If I come back it will only be because I like their wax.

I was quite disappointed with the way the person at the front counter treated me tonight. I arrived for my appointment, and the waxer was running late. The woman at the desk told me that the person with the waxer was getting a "head to toe" service, and she didn't know when it would be done. I was surprised she mentioned the service the client was getting. Then, she asked me if I wanted to see another waxer. I told her that I'd wait for my appointment. This is a very personal experience, and I wanted to see the person I booked the appointment with. At this point, the woman made a face and said that they close at 8. I ignored her, since I am never late for my appointments, and they will charge you if you are late. I have been a customer for years, and this person at the counter is new, but she needs to work on her customer service. Lastly, when I went to pay, I told her that I was paying on the app. She still processed the check on her system and asked me to tap my card. I told her I was processing it on the app. I was confused and canceled the order on her pad, since it seemed like I would pay 2x. She didn't understand the payment through the app, and tried to say it hadn't gone through. It finally showed on her side, and I left. However, the whole reason to have the app is to not have to stop and deal with the counter person. Please, train your new hires to treat customers better and understand the forms of payment. This was over $100, and I expect to be treated with respect. The waxers are amazing, but the front desk attendants need better training and customer service.

Clean, efficient. Soskia worked with me. She was kind, efficient and made suggestions but not pushy at all. I would definitely ask for her again. I'm still getting used to the post pandemic prices but they are competitive with other places in this area.

Hello Joan, just want to specify that our prices increased a year ago, not 6 months as you indicated. We kept them during the pandemic. The price of the service you get yearly went up 6$. However, we have many offers and discounts that we can apply. You can visit www.unikwax.com
Jun 16, 2023Previous reviewALERT ALERT - prices jumped over 33% since my last visit which was maybe 6 mos. ago. It's still clean and efficient and staff is courteous. But a jump in price like that for a basic service is pretty shocking. So, I recommend finding out the price of your service before going.

Lost trust in this place. Got a wax 2 weeks ago for my upper lip. At first, everything was fine. Lip was red but that is to be expected after a wax. A few days later, it was still red and started to blister. It is still red and I'm very concerned for scarring. I'll never get my lip waxed here ever again and I'd advise you not to either.

Crystal is an absolute gem! Her attention to detail is like no other and she is highly skilled in pain management. Brazilians never hurt with her and she is exceptionally personable! UniK is always clean and quick. Never a bad experience.

Very poor customer service and no regard for appointments. Took a walk in and made me wait for almost 30 minutes for a 20 min appt.
