Great couples experience!

My girlfriend and I got the Combo 60 minute Korean Body Scrub and 30 minute massage from Suzanne and Michelle.

We arrived at the spa 10 minutes before our appointment and were checked in immediately. We were told to hang on just a moment while our masseuses were called. They then lead us downstairs to the changing areas when I went into the Men's changing room and my girlfriend went to the Women's changing room. The room had lockers with keys on them so you could store your belongings and lock them during your treatment. We were asked to change out of our clothes and into disposable underwear, a robe and rubber slides. After changing we were lead to the scrub room which had two tables divided by a curtain in the middle.

Suzanne who was my masseuse took my robe and slides and asked me to lay on the table face up just in the disposable underwear. My girlfriend on the other side did the same and our treatments then began. They started by throwing buckets of warm water over your body and start to gently scrub at your feet and legs, once each section was completed they put a warm wet towel over it to keep your skin moist. The scrubbing started out gently and gradually got stronger to make sure that all the dead skin was properly cleared. They essentially scrub everywhere aside from your privates which they do in a professional manner and in no way felt uncomfortable! After scrubbing the front I was asked to flip over where the same was done for the back. My girlfriend's masseuse Michelle pulled down her disposable underwear to scrub her butt but my masseuse Suzanne would just hike them up and move it side to side to scrub where she needed to! They spent a lengthy time getting all the dead skin off which was crazy to see being rinsed off your body!

After the initial scrubbing we were asked to hop off the table and stand next to it where they rinsed the soapy scrub off. My girlfriend was completely naked for this part but I was told to keep my disposable underwear on while they used a removable shower hose and buckets of water. Once we completely rinsed we got towels and were asked to dry off. After drying off we got back on the tables for the oil massage which was very relaxing and a great way to moisturize our bodies after the scrub. Although the massage techniques were not the best part of the experience they were still good!

Once the massage was complete, our masseuses washed and conditioned our hair before finishing with a quick face wash! After this we once again were rinsed off, my masseuse gave me the hose as well to rinse off in private while she turned away. We then were lead to a sauna room and given water to enjoy before we returned to the changing rooms!

Overall this was an incredible answer unique experience! We have never down a Korean Body Scrub before and were pleased with the overall experience and how our skin feels afterwards! You will leave feeling cleaner and softer than you could imagine! We were recommend this to couples for sure, it is a great way to bond and experience a unique spa ritual! You may be a bit out of your comfort zone at different times but it is certainly all done in the most professional manner! We will hopefully be returning in the future!

I experienced an awesome hydrafacial. This is one of the best spas in the city, not overpriced and gets the job done.

Real things that happened during my massage:
-The masseuse's phone went off loudly
-She kept burping
-Blew her nose without washing her hands
-Alternated between a scalding hot towel and roughly rubbing hot stones along my spine
-The phone in the reception rang loudly for 20 minutes straight (apparently there's no voicemail in case you're urgently trying to reach them)
-Stretched me so my chest was completely exposed off the table
Did I walk out feeling tranquil? No.
Do I have less muscle tension than when I walked in? Surprisingly yes.
Will I go a block north for a massage at Salon M next time I need a massage? Absolutely.

***60 min Body Scrub by Grace***

Wow what an experience. You change into a robe, slippers and disposable underwear in a fairly small changing room that also serves as a touch up room when you're done with your service. There's a locker for your items with a key that goes with you into the scrub room.

Grace spoke minimally and really gave me the full scrub down x2. By the end of the service, and witnessing my dead skin get splashed to the ground, I was baby soft.I definitely will be back.

My daughter got me a gift certificate for the body scrub plus massage combo, 90 minutes treatment & got booked an appointment with Grace, my go-to-lady over a decade. Her through yet gentle scrub combined with the body massage was just amazing. Her attention to every aspect of my entire body parts thoroughly scrubbed, massagers using an herbal cleanser & oil put me into deep sleep & complete relaxation. I enjoyed it so much that I booked a next appointment with Grace for the same service using their special promotion. I have been coming to this spa for years ; as a result, I enjoy lots of compliments on my glowing skin. Definitely the Korean body scrub ( plus massage) has been contributed to my overall health, beauty, and mental wellness. Highly, highly recommend.

In 2013 I bought a series of three body scrubs, used one and forgot about it. In December, I called and they still had a record of my purchase and honored it. Amazing. I think her name was Fanny. She was the person assigned to give me my Korean Body scrub. The place is no frills, but clean. Following my treatment, I came home and saw both a visual and tactile difference to my skin. My very very dry and flaky legs now felt polished, smooth, and no flaking. My back, which had a lot of small scratchy ugly things on it, felt irritated. But a couple of weeks later, my back felt completely different...smooth and not dry at all. A truly transformative experience. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I used to pass by this location a lot but never tried them until now. My girlfriend was always telling me about Korean body scrubs and how she loves them so we did a couples Korean body scrub a massage. The experience was pretty good, I liked it a lot.

The location is small but getting an appointment was very easy. After speaking to my girlfriend, we thought there was a bit of inconsistency regarding how everything was done or how things were done.

Regarding the massage, the massage was very different from a typical massage - there was a lot of elbows and forearms involved. I thought mine was good but my girlfriend said hers was rough which was odd because she likes strong pressure.

Overall, we would go back for scrubs but massages are a bit up in the air. The cost of the package was also fairly high compared to other places.

Korean spa is always a plus for me. I enjoyed my body scrub here. Getting a scrub and seeing dead skin fall off feels so refreshing.
I'd recommend one to anyone and everyone.
The one draw back is the lack of amenities due to covid. I like being pampered at a spa. I feel here we just walked in and went straight to scrubbing. No tea, no water or anything.
Customer service was good and the place was nice and clean.

This place has gone downhill. I almost tripped three different times on some raised boards by the bathroom and to be blunt, my technician was an asshole. She seemed put out by the whole experience and complained to me. Time to retire sweetheart! I literally paid lots of money to feel better and left feeling body shamed.

A friend of mine recommended this place for years..... yes years! I finally made an appt to go. I took a mental health from work and decided to go. I opted for a 60 minute Korean scrub plus 30 min massage. It was great. Grace was amazing and id definitely book her again. You have to be okay with being naked, there is no way around it. They provide you with a locker, slippers, disposable panties and robe. But in the room, you will only be in your disposable panties. For the scrub, I chose medium pressure and it was perfect. The hardest part was having the mask on, because water gets thrown on you and you are trying to breathe through a wet mask lol. The Korean scrub removes dead skin. Your body will be soft and supple after.

The massage happened after the scrub. And after that, Grace showered me. The whole experience was amazing, and I definitely recommend. Can't wait to go again soon.
