Louis, our founder, has always loved helping people, so he decided to create a full-body fitness program that's so much fun it doesn't even feel like you're working out (but you definitely are). Rooted in trampolines and anchor bands, our fitness classes range from muscle-specific classes to themed classes such as rave cardio and twerk out. All skill levels are welcome and no prior jumping experience is required -- we'll go over the basics for how to trampoline like a pro at the start of class and can modify exercises to you. That way everyone can enjoy a low-impact workout that blends adaptable jump-based exercises, elastics, light weights, and athletic movements.

I'm honestly not a big gym kind of girl--don't get me wrong, I enjoy working out, but I just hate doing the same repetitive treadmill, elliptical, stair-master workouts whenever I want to get some exercise.
So thankfully, there are unique classes like trampoLEAN out there that keep my workouts exciting so I don't have to drag myself to the gym every time I want to work off the 3 desserts I likely had the night before (#facts).
I signed up for the trampoLEAN rave class, thinking that it would just be a fun, little workout on the trampoline where I might sweat a little. HAH. Boy, was I wrong. This is a LEGIT workout, and I guarantee that you will be sweating. A lot.
It's basically 50 minutes of non-stop cardio on your mini trampoline, complete with resistance bands (free ones and ones you pull from the ceiling), weights, glow sticks, and of course, rave-y music.
Not only did I have a blast jumping every which way on my trampoline (after I got over my initial fear of falling and busting my ass ofc), but it was a great workout! I DEF felt like I burned off most, if not all of my 3 desserts from the night before (thank god so I'll be able to have another 3 desserts the next day), which is all I really want in a workout class.
Will 100% be back for another trampoLEAN rave class in the future!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 10, 2018
Great place for cardio workout! I've been coming here through Classpass for the last few months and I really love it. The workouts are super fun and not too difficult. You do end up working up a sweat though at the end from all the jumping up and down.
The class has a bunch of personal sized trampolines perfect for working out. A lot of people are scared to fall off but I haven't fallen off and I haven't seen anyone fall off in all the times I've gone.
The music and lights help to add to your workout. It's kind of like being at a crazy trampoline dance party. I know they have rave nights there but I haven't yet been. I have tried their toning classes and after a class you will be sore.
Louis and Brent are great instructors and they will help keep you motivated. They help you if you need it. I always have fun in their classes.
I have already recommended this class to everyone who will listen to me. Some people enjoy it, some people don't. I personally like it because it's a different and fun way of getting cardio in.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Please adhere to the warning labels below prior to attending this class.
I attended two of Kiki's Arms & Butt class.
WARNING: Please get dressed for class prior to arriving at the studio. TrampoLEAN shares space with a ballroom dancing class and therefore the bathroom/changing room is shared as well. It is not state of the art. It is barely clean and had a limited number of stalls. The least amount of time you can spend in there (if any), the better. Once you enter the ballroom studio, the TrampoLEAN studio is on the right side in the corner room. Yes, you will have to dodge people twirling and sashaying as you make your way to the studio. Feel free to show them some moves while you're at it.
WARNING: Do not eat mac & cheese, 10,20,30,40... minutes prior to attending this class. Do not eat ANYTHING for that matter. Do not drink a whole bottle of water, and while we're at it...Do not collect $200 and do not pass go.
WARNING: Jumping on a fitness trampoline at the seasoned age of 23,24,25,26...will not be reminiscent of jumping on a trampoline at the age of 9,8,7,6...I don't remember feeling "sore" after jumping on a trampoline then.
WARNING: No matter how much you want to dance, do not forget that you're on a tiny trampoline and at any moment, you can fall right off of that tiny trampoline. Kiki has an awesome, high-energy, hip hop mix (share plz!!) , but don't let those "hits make you JUMP, JUMP" off center. However, she will instruct you on how to position yourself to make sure you have the most stable position.
*TIP: Wear your yoga socks!
WARNING: Attendance of this class may result in sore body parts and a beautiful pool of sweat. (which i hoped for, after all, it is a fitness class). Kiki does a great job balancing the element of "structured, organized workouts" with "free styling." She taught us different ways to jump, to squat, to stretch, to lift (yes, there were weights involved), all while utilizing the trampoline. There was even some twerking during the butt section (I need no instruction on that ) and some boxing instruction with the weights during the arm section. If she sees you slacking, she WILL come around and kindly smile you back into submission. It's the sweetest brand of intimidation I've ever experienced.
What YOU should do:
+ Jump on the chance to check out one of Kiki's classes. Her energy is infectious and her instruction style is effective.
Plus, how many times do you get to jump on a trampoline of your own?Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I went to trampolean Twerk work out. So much fun!!!!!! If you were ever an athlete this is right up your alley. If you want sweat and a real kick your ass work out, this is it!!! I was expecting more trap music for a twerk workout but the music was still overall good. The instructor was fun and had a great dance moves. She also knew exactly when everyone needed a break.
I went on my birthday and this is a such a fun activity to do with a couple friends. We laughed the entire time!!! I felt great the next day, if you have not tried - you should definitely try it once!!!
Some recommendations would be to provide the floor the class is held on in the email, it was not easy to find from the lobby, it was also a bit chaotic on the outside of the room where other dance classes were being held - at Stepping Out Studios.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you so much for your five star review Brittni-- we really appreciate it and are thrilled you celebrated your birthday with us! Thanks for your feedback about listing the location. We actually do list the address, floor and studio on the top of the e mail. Perhaps we will add it in again in the body of the confirmation e mail. We also have a sign on the front desk reception listing studio location and other details. Looking forward to having you back again soon.

***Unique, Good instructor, Not very challenging***
I didn't find the class very challenging; I took the full body workout class. The instructor didn't seem very excited to teach the class. Otherwise it's an interesting class to take and try out.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We're sorry the class didn't challenge you like you expected, Liz. We work hard to make sure every class targets all the muscle groups for a full-body sweat session. There's a technique that takes some time to master that the instructors go over in every class. Once it's mastered, you'll be feeling the burn! Next time, don't hesitate to let an instructor know and we'd be happy to go over it with you. Hopefully you'll give us another chance to impress you sometime -- we know we can.
All the best,

This is a great class for people who like HIIT/intense cardio classes. I took the Bounce Back class, which was described to be focused on posterior muscles like glutes/hamstrings/rear delts, but the workout was actually full-body. The bouncing really works your quads and core and we did tons of tricep/bicep/shoulder/ab moves with hand weights and resistance bands. The instructor, Louis, did a great job at making the class inclusive for all fitness levels; he gave instructions on how to make certain moves harder or easier.

It was very fun workout and hard! So much cardio than expected. The trampoline was small so I was very paranoid about jumping off it and get injured.... Couldn't really relax.
Floor was dirty, I guess can't avoid this as its a rented space.
Overall still a great workout!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

We're so glad you're enjoying the classes, Emi! Our jump technique warm up goes over basic jumps that are also work as excellent modifications. We hope to see you in class again soon. Thanks for the 4 star rating : )

If you're looking for a unique exercise class, this is it. I came here through Classpass. I enjoyed the class but don't see myself coming back again.
Pros:
- it's fun! I found myself smiling throughout the class. You use resistance bands hanging from the ceiling
- it's a great cardio workout and there's some strength work throughout the class
Cons:
- a little bit of a hot mess. The room is crowded, and the moves are nonstop, so don't expect one on one adjustments
- the music. Not sure what this playlist was, or if more than 2 songs on repeat were played, but it could definitely use some more variety
- it definitely isn't the most intense workout you'll get, and what you'll get out of it is very dependent on you focusing on your form (which is a little hard with the lack of individual feedback and the fast paced nature of the class)
Overall, I'd try it out if you're looking for a fun, laidback class that's also a great cardio workout. If you're more about technique or strength, or prefer one on one attention and adjustments from your instructors, it's probably not the best choice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thanks for this thorough review Emily! We are glad you enjoyed the class. A few responses:
- This is a skill based class. If you did not find it that challenge that's because it takes time to master the skill set of rebounding. Force out put needs to be matched with core stabilization. The lower you are to the trampoline the harder the exercise becomes.
- We have a lot of variety of playlists and users write us for our play lists all the time. Sorry you didn't enjoy the play list. I'd love to know what instructor you had.
- We try our best to adjust during sculpting exercises and give lots of modifications during cardio sequences. I'm sorry if you didn't receive the individual attention you were looking for.
Thanks again for your review. We're very happy you would recommend overall : - ) - Diana K.Brooklyn, NY241571Jun 19, 2018
Their Air Conditioning/Ventilation situation is great, you can barely smell the farts.
I had Brent as an instructor, who was nice and VERY nonthreatening. I had a really fun time working out, and it's sort of a choose-your-own adventure type of burn. My lower body was on fire halfway through the class, and I chose to ease up a little and do some lighter jumping here and there. The ab portion of class was super challenging, and provided a great sweat session overall.
One star off because it's wildly expensive for the facility/equipment they provide. The facilities are fine, very charming - but not for $33 per drop-in class (I know their class packages are cheaper but they expire and I can't commit to a shampoo, let alone a month's worth of workouts). The "waiting area" is a collection of basement furniture. The bathroom/changing area is a similar aesthetic. Once it's time for class, you have to walk through an active ballroom, dodging couples doing dips, in order to get to a small room at the back. All of this would be fine if they didn't charge the same price as the high-end gyms in town with state of the art equipment who keep their bathrooms stocked with hair ties, tampons, and dry bar products. Please lower your prices, and I will gladly navigate the sea of dancers between us.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

We have just introduced dynamic pricing. Book for in advance for cheaper classes. Smart packages earn you credits back on classes that dropped in price. Get $5 referral points for each referral booked. Thanks for your review. We listen.

EXCELLENT!!! It was so much fun!!!! Louis is great!
Even though my stamina is not as high as I would like, I didn't feel out of place with the class. I felt the calories burning off! I usually try classes once and keep it moving. I am 99% sure I will be buying a 10 class package. A MUST TRY!!!
Even suggested to my job's fitness group, that we should contact Louis to set up a company event!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
