  • Soloman is the best coach. Seriously. Would take any class by him over others. I haven't been to Tone House in the past, just not in awhile (like a few months), so I decided to take the newly offered beginner class because I knew the 101 would be overwhelming. The only constructive criticism I have to offer is that I feel the beginner class and the 101 class is too much of a jump. The 101 class gets me winded and at times, I feel I can barely perform, but the beginner class I felt I could have been pushed more for sure - oh, I was def winded at times. It could just be me personally, but my next class, I feel like I would again attend to a beginner than headed straight to the 101 again. I've completed numerous 101 classes in previous months for background. Again, this is just a personal thing and I usually find myself inbetween levels, but I think maybe adding to the warm-up a bit might help. For example, after the awesome breakdown on form, the beginner group can do one time through (w breaks) after learning all of the form. That's possibly the only thing I'd add to be honest. One more round in the warm-up AFTER going through a breakdown warm-up entirely first. Love this gym. Thank you for being on class pass. I tell everyone hardest workout in NYC (and perk across the street from 2nd hardest workout being SolidCore). Thank you!
