I am very impressed by the massage therapists at TMC. I have some unusual issues, and Jimmy has helped reduce my pain and improve movement. Carolyn has a calm, gentle approach that I would highly recommend to anyone who has chronic pain or anxiety. I did have an experience where I felt Eric did not listen to my requests to work on specific areas, and to not overstretch me. I made the mistake of allowing him to experiment with his own thought process, and it set me back about a month. My body rebounded terribly. I have had shooting nerve pain that I've never had before, and I've had to call off of work for several days because I simply couldn't function. I had a difficult time getting in to see Jimmy or my chiropractor in the week following the massage, and it felt like every muscle in my body locked down as time went on. I hope that this can be used as a learning experience to listen to the client, especially one who knows their body well. It was a lesson to me, to say no more firmly and remove myself from the situation if uncomfortable instead of just being amenable. Even with this experience, I will continue to highly recommend TMC.
