• Ahhhhh, Thrive! My husband's massage therapist, Skylar, truly had a connected feel for where and how much deep pressure to apply. She did so in such a way he continues the day after to feel the positive impacts of muscle tension release and breakdown of lactic acid. He rarely gets massages. This was probably his 5th ever. Skylar is an unassuming powerhouse with a multitude of practiced methods to return your body to a much better being. My massage therapist, Mora is a gem! Until our Covid era, I had massages frequently the last several years. I am certain she is the best - especially for my personality. I mentioned I am a Type A - while I will scrunch up my shoulders which impacts my neck and skull, the ripple effect is noticeable in my chest and front of my neck. Mora released years of these knots. Her pressure was spot on. My feet and forearms needed deep massaging. I bruise easily, purposely did NOT mention, and she worked it all out - no bruising next day. Aside from Thrive being able to accommodate us for a couple's massage 6 days before we traveled to Portsmouth for a getaway, their spa is gorgeous. Nestled in an unassuming building right downtown, you arrive to a true utopia - it feels like a retreat as you pass by the lobby. I believe Sara works the front end. She is sooooo helpful, professional and has a warm genuine character. Thrive's quiet room and our massage room were both gorgeous. My only issue is finding this amazing wellness business away from home. • Dazzle dry! There are not many in the Seacoast area that offer dazzle dry. Ended up having a great manicure! Will definitely be back.
