• I have been going to Third Root for approximately 6 months now . I have lower back problems. I go to community acupuncture and individual sessions . When the budget allows I treat myself to a massage. It has helped me both physically and mentally.

• 4 of us planned our own "couple's retreat" and went to the community acupuncture at Third Root. The atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing. Jolani (sp?) was incredibly intuitive, kind and responsive to all of our needs and I really appreciated their care and attention. I hope to go back soon and often.

• The donation classes at Third Root are the only way I can continue my yoga practice. As a student, my budget is tight. I believe wellness of body and spirit has no cost and I am so glad that Third Root offers these classes to our community.

• Saturday morning yoga with Shri Devi was a truly wonderful, transporting experience. We were two visitors visiting NY from Boston and looking for a class that not only welcomed but embraced students of all bodies and backgrounds. Shri Devi is a joyful, patient and wonderful instructor, and it felt so good to know we were supporting this vital community health center in Kensington!
