The instructors are superb. The work with each student and create a congruent, symmetrical flow to the class. That atmosphere and spirit of the practice room isperfect. It is relaxing and allows you to be in the moment with your practice. I used to practice on my own, but now I only practice at the Yoga Stand. Itmakes that much of a difference.
Professional teachers. And helpful. One suggestion would be to add another mid-morning or 2 pm class on Thursday
These past two weeks have been unbelievably exciting. Each class was so different but all consistently provided growth that I only hoped to experience.
I started with a few classes with Ozzie last year, then with Frances' 101 which led me to the 2-week pass. Before this, I've only done maybe one yoga class and I did not think I would ever like it.
Here, both Sarahs, both Donnas and Starr have been incredible but Ozzie's classes are my favorite. He pays so much attention to detail and gives the instructions precisely, rarely getting mixed up on left-right or forgetting a move, which I know must be really hard! But it feels best to follow the lead of someone who confidently knows where the class is heading and is always a few steps ahead. He seems knowledgeable on how the body works and its general structure, naming different parts and making sure he explains what is healthiest for our bodies. His research and knowledge which makes me feel like I am in good hands. He is also the only instructor I encountered who consistently brought in quotes, which I absolutely loved. I am not usually much of a quotes-person, but his texts always landed with me. Above all, Ozzie isn't afraid to joke about and have some silliness in his classes, which I really appreciate! I like to think of yoga (and life) as "playtime".
Overall, I am so-so happy I found this studio and this supportive community. I met some really friendly fellow students over my two weeks and saw some incredibly inspiring talent & craftmanship. I am so excited to be on this journey with y'all! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
