This salon is a game changer! I can't believe I went to my old salon for as long as I did, I'm used to having frail nails and painful removal from the drills.
I saw Hailey Smiley and she was incredibly skilled and very attentive every step of the way- not to mention extremely kind and personable! I could tell Hailey really cared and wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Hands down the best experience I've had at a salon yet, from the booking process all the way to when I walked out the door.

Really enjoy this natural nail salon - they have locations all around Columbus.
I come here to get pedicures and the nail technicians are very kind. Lots of color choices within gel and different scents for pedicure services. Everything is clean and they market their copper bowls that are naturally antiseptic.
The specialty pedicures are very calming and takes a full hour. My nail tech, Jasmine was attentive and had great attention to detail.
Only downside I find are the chairs are slightly uncomfortable, they are typical barrel chairs that match the aesthetic but they are not padded. They're fine and not a deterrent but I do enjoy the cushy massage chairs with a larger back rest that other nail salons have.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The technician was nice, my nails.....are not. Had a gel pedicure and manicure 2 weeks ago. It took 3 HOURS....not kidding. My nails looks bad, cuticles were painted too......I was leaving the next day on vacation and just wanted to get out of there. I should've said something because now, 2 weeks later, the nails are all lifting because the gel was also painted onto my cuticles and as they grow out.....they lift. Again, the technician herself was lovely and kind.....she may have been new, but I really should've said something. Lesson learned and please take this as your message to speak up if not right. With that said, the place was also lovely and clean. This is more of a PSA not to be wimpy like me and speak up!

The W nail bar is an all natural nail bar, so they don't do acrylics or dip, but they do gel and regular polish. If you want to add tips, they can add gel tips.
There are multiple W Nail bars throughout Columbus, and I recommend scheduling your appointment beforehand. You can go online, choose your time and location, and choose the service you want. I called multiple times during their open business hours and no one answered, so I would just go online and choose the service you think you want.
They do have you put in your CC number to hold the appointment, but they don't charge it until you finish your service there.
I was able to schedule for the next day, and service was good. She could have done better on a few of the French tips, but overall it was a positive experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Made a special appointment on a day off to get a pedicure with a specific person at the Short North location. I arrived right on time and checked in. Unfortunately I was left waiting for 20 minutes before someone told me that they did not have enough techs to complete the service. Why did no one call me? I wouldn't have driven 20 miles if I had known! They offered to complete my service if I waited an hour, which I was unable to do. Although I was annoyed, it's not a big deal. The staff member offered to rebook me for free and I chose to rebook in New Albany for today.
Yesterday New Albany has asked me to reschedule because of a booking error. I decided I wanted to cancel completely at this point. This morning I was notified that I would be charged 50% of the service as a cancellation fee. (What happened to that free rebook?) I have asked to speak to someone, but all you get are random text messages.

Honestly disappointed. I heard so many good things about W Nail Bar and was excited to go get my nails done for Thanksgiving. I got a gel manicure and was talked into getting luminary for $10 extra because it would help with chipping and make the nail thicker. I am only 2 days after my appt and I have 2 chipped nails. I paid $71 for this after 2 days to be ruined. Don't think I'll be going back.

I don't usually write reviews, but this the review I would looking for if searching for a new nail salon.
I was really looking forward to feeling cared for after long travel, but this wasn't it. I was the only customer in the store and yet I really felt like an inconvenience to the staff. It took three hours (with most of the time we sitting around waiting--even though, again, no one else was there). The salon was dirty: the sinks, the side tables, and a few of the appliances. The service I got, the Soon, was supposed to come with some never forget massage experience but neither the manicure nor pedicure involved any massage--it ironically felt like both staff didn't really want to touch me. I was in very bad need of some self love and decided that getting a mani/pedi would do the trick. I had walked by the W Nail Salon many times and knew it was close by. After checking them out on Yelp I decided to give them a call. Lucky for me they had availability later that day and I made an appointment right away.
I arrived right on time and didn't have to wait even a second before I was guided to Jayme for my manicure. We immediately got lost in conversation over how random it was that our names were spelled the same, pets, family, etc. Before I knew it the hour was over and my nails looked flawless. Next I headed over for my pedicure. I loved getting to pick out my own soak. I went with my favorite (lavender) and it was very easy to slip right into full relaxation mode. The entire thing felt great, the tech was a sweetie (can't remember her name) and my toes looked fabulous. I'm so glad the color I picked out was available in both gel and regular polish. I love gel on my nails but not necessarily on my toes.
I had a great experience here and would totally come back. I've had gel nails many times and I'm completely satisfied with how they turned out and will surely visit Jayme again. This was my first ever pedicure, so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Heard great things about this salon and wanted to check it out. I booked online and showed up to find out I had accidentally booked a pedi that didn't include polish (which was my own oversight), however my nail tech gave me a hard time about this and make me feel uncomfortable from the get go. I decided to stay for my appointment since I was already there etc. The pedicure itself was ok, or would have been. However my stylist was very abrasive and I mentioned on more than one occasion that I was experiencing pain and asked for her to stop/ adjust. She was not very remorseful and did not seem to respond well to critiques. After my appointment I came home with no polish on my toes and the abrasions seen in the photo. I could not get out of the salon quick enough. Will definitely not be returning
