• The receptionist can use a little more experience/training in customer service. I arrived a few minutes early and pulled on the door a few times and realized it was locked. The receptionist looked across her desk towards me and didn't say anything. I had to wait for the next-door neighbor to let me know that they would be locked until 2 PM, which is when my appointment began. A more experienced receptionist would have made some sign to let me know to wait outside or would have, even better, come to the door politely to let me know when they would be available to take me. I sat outside and waited. At 2 PM I called from my phone to let them know I was outside, and her answer was "oh we already unlock the door" when the correct thing to do would have been to open the door and stick her head out and say "welcome, thanks for waiting, you may come in now" instead of just unlocking and going back to her desk. During my visit the lady who was doing my hair asked her if she would open the door to let air in. The receptionist continued folding towels for quite a few minutes. I asked her if she would kindly open the door, and then she said "I'm going" folded a few more towels and eventually went to open the door. There are more examples, but hopefully you get the point. I want to make sure that this review does not result in any kind of a reprimand to her. I am simply sharing this as a fellow business owner's goodwill in sharing with you opportunities to make your business the best that it can be.
