Natalia is the best! She always goes above and beyond with her service.
She treats me like a queen and is impeccable with her detail! Always asking me if there is anything she could do to improve my visit! She is such a great aesthetician and would never go to anyone else. I highly recommend her she is outstanding!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rebecca G.Valparaiso, IN1591Aug 11, 2023
Natalia was very attentive and helpful the entire time. She thoroughly explained each step and product and made sure to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. She was able to give me recommendations of products to use and gave great skin care tips. I definitely plan to come back!

Service was great but the space could use some updates to give it a luxurious spa vibe! Love the warm massage tables!

Great service, helped me figure out what was best for my wife and her friend. My wife and her friend had the best time and said it was so relaxing and really helped my wife destress. They got a massage, facial and Japanese wrap.

My 3 hr massage was just me being rubbed with oil. No massage at all. Not threw the whole thing, only thing that was massaged was my shoulders. I even had the essence of soul done and I've had better massages while getting a pedicure. I requested a woman. Got a man. Was required to pay $66 tip when I had a gift certificate. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Amazing staff! They made booking my bridal party easy and stress free. The spa is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The most relaxing massage and my therapist was very thorough in finding out what my needs were and making sure to apply the right pressure. Very professional. 10:10 would return.

Hello Kasi. It looks like you were in for the foot treatment in March and visited us the next month, April, for one of our amazing packages. I am very sorry for your experience with the foot treatment. I have placed a credit on your account for $50 towards any service of your choice. Since I haven't heard from you regarding the package you were in for, I must believe that you enjoyed that and were very satisfied with your service that day. I emailed you directly but have not heard back. Again, I apologize for the poor foot service and can only hope that all of your upcoming visits will be perfect.
Apr 20, 2021Previous reviewI had the service essence of soul and I was very underwhelmed. I was very disappointed in the service. The person who performed the service was a disappointment. I have received better calf and foot massages when I get a pedicure. The chair you sit in is far from relaxing. I was looking for a relaxing experience and I left there feeling less relaxed than when I walked in.
I was expecting more from this salon from the reviews. The lobby is cramped and the decor is dated. I didn't feel like I was entering a "retreat" - Angela S.Valparaiso, IN01Apr 19, 2019
I had a massage yesterday that was amazing and tried out the red light goggles. I am so impressed but the results! You have to try these!!! I am still blown away by the very obvious reduction in fine lines around my eyes! These things work and fast! Big fan here!!

I will say that the person who checked us out did try and make the situation better and took half off our services - which is why I gave an extra star. But, even the best service recovery can't make up for what is really a bad massage, facial, and overall experience. I'm reading the reviews and wondering if these individuals have had massages or facials elsewhere.
First, I'm more into a clean aesthetic for my spa experience, so I was already put out of sorts by the environment. Lots of clutter, fabrics, etc. At the desk, there's a metal sign that says something about a warning shot being fired circa county fair booth. So, to be picky - I feel like the website did not convey the overall brand of this place. I was expecting something a little more relaxing, tranquil. The actual spa's aesthetic was Stevie Nicks during her Gypsy period meets Steven Tyler.
We had a couples massage and the room was small, which is okay, but the people doing the massage used chairs to get around the table so would bang against the massage table. Pretty disruptive. The tables were not heated despite me choosing the option. Everything is an add on, so if you want to smell something other than just oil, you have to pay extra. So, no smell. Neither one of our masseuses asked about the pressure. I guess I could have spoken up, but I prefer when they ask for feedback. My masseuse then stopped abruptly at one point to get something and actually left the room. This happened more than once. Just up and left randomly to get things. There was a lot they had to do once the massage started so I'm not sure how relaxing it's supposed to be with so much starting and stopping. My upper body was also exposed a lot and I like to be covered because I'm cold. Especially since the oil was pretty cold. And I don't really like the oil just being dripped on my - I've seen that movie, not a fan. We also received our foot scrub (don't) and facials (nope) during our massage which takes away from the 60 minute massage. I'm not really sure between the running in and out and other devices if you actually get 60 minutes of massage.
The facial - and I use that term loosely, was a huge issue for us. We thought we were getting an actual facial. Apparently, it was just a "wellness facial." My husband swears he mentioned steam when he booked it, but the receptionist thought they would have explained that we weren't really getting a facial by any normal definition of the word.
The facial was in the massage room, done by the masseuses. I was concerned. It was still dark and there was no conversation about my skin condition at all. So, this wasn't my first rodeo and at this point I'm so worried I'm actually more tense then when I started. The water smells like it's from a tap - so, if I can smell it, then it's not good tap water. Luke warm/room temp water is applied and then drips down my face. The "exfoliation" is maybe a little bit of exfoliant on a facial pad or sponge or something soft, so that's not doing anything. I didn't even know we were exfoliating until she told me afterward. Then she proceeds to paint chocolate on my face. Literally - painted it on with a paint brush. I stop the whole show then because I don't know why we are using a chocolate mask to help my skin during what's supposed to be a facial. I asked about steam or hot water and she said I would get a hot towel after the chocolate mask. So essentially we were going to clog and constrict my pores, then open them up again. I ended the session there. Now, I have chocolate in my hairline and my eyebrows and I smell like a Hershey bar. My advice is to not use the word facial and call it a chocolate mask. Even "wellness facial" is misleading.
There's so many basic things that should have happened - like asking if we needed to use the restroom before we started, warming the oil, warming the table, prompting for feedback. That would have made a huge difference in my overall opinion. Again - receptionist was awesome, but I still paid 145 for two people (was supposed to be 290) to barely get a massage. That's way too much for what we got. I have been to spas in the area that do so much better and provide such a great experience, are much more professional and really do a good job, that I just wouldn't return to a place like this.
*update - saw another bad review that states this company is providing free service for good reviews. So, I would hope reviewers would state they're receiving a free service in exchange for said review so not to mislead people like myself who expected so much more. I'm also posting a picture of the wipe I used at home after my "facial." I've put no make up on - this is strictly from the chocloate they put on my face and barely wiped off. This is not good for anyone.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
