Michaey is by far the most amazing person/stylist ever. Came in yesterday 11/19/20 for my appointment at 12 with her, she ask what are doing today and I explained what I wanted. Lemme just say that she delivered AMAZING RESULTS. I just came in for a haircut but this haircut was amazing. I come from Houston and just here for the week, but I will make the trip to come back and see her for my haircuts and more stuff to come. I love her knowledge that she has with hair, she ain't master stylist for nothing. Thank you so much for the experience, you've got a client forever lol

AMAZING salon for funky colors, Hayleigh is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Last year she did our 13 year old hair purple, blue and pink. Today our same daughter went in and got the amazing oil slick hair coloring, the coloring Hayleigh did was OUTSTANDING!!!

I had dark brown hair with more pure white grey than I wanted Chris took my hair from drab brown to an amazing light blonde and let me tell you my hair looks AMAZING and is so soft!!!!

If you want funky colors, have dark hair and want to go blonde The Parlour Salon is the place to go, Hayleigh and Chris are truly your go to people!!!! I wish I could post pictures!!!

I was looking to chop off a large amount of my hair but did not know what salon to go to. As everyone else on here, I went to yelp to help me find a salon.

I first called a salon here in San Marcos to see if they had any available appointments for that day, they said they'd have one for tomorrow. Which was totally fine but the lady on the phone was just really rude, so I decided not to book an appointment with them. I'm so glad I passed on them.

I then decided to call The Parlour Salon because of the reviews on here. I booked an appointment with Chris. I walked in and the vibe I got was as if I was with a group of long time friends. From the very start to finish Chris was very sweet and easygoing. My hair was mid back length, I knew what I wanted was a A-line bob. I wasn't sure exactly the length I wanted, but Chris was on point and exceeded my expectations. If your looking for a stylist that is bad ass at their job, attentive, detailed oriented, friendly, easygoing and does sweet ass hair cuts? Well Chris is your guy! After going to many salons, I've never felt like I found my stylist until now. Chris keep up the Good Work!

I'm not someone who has a hair care routine, but I wanted to change things up a bit and dye my hair a fun color. I was able to get an appointment within two days with Riley, and she did such a great job! She took a few photos that I had, plus what I described and she nailed it. I've gone back a few times since then for a toning touch up, and my husband went to her for his hair as well.

Other than great hair stylists, the vibe is very relaxed and the decor is AMAZING! If I had the money for an interior decorator, I'd hire whoever designed this salon in a heartbeat! Everyone is very friendly, and for someone who never does their hair, I didn't feel out of place.

I've had my hair cut in a salon maybe a half dozen times in my life, colored once... Strictly because that's what my two older sisters and my mom did so of course I would go with them, which in the grand scheme of things at 31 yrs is a rather low number (I think so at least?).

Anyways, I'd moved away to Chicago for about a year and coming back to Austin I felt like I needed a refresher. I've previously done boxed color and had good experiences, however I wanted something more artistic and I just didn't have the patience to do that on my own.

I made this decision for a hair overhaul amidst a sleepless night and therefore started researching places super early morning, like 2AM. Being the impatient person I am, I crossed off any place that wouldn't allow me to leave a message in one way or another (OK so I work in the web industry and I'm a little bias towards user-friendly websites...) in any case, I sent a message to Parlour and a few other salons. The very next morning I opened a voicemail from Parlour in RE: the message I'd sent through their website. Um, major points. I called back and was a little bummed to hear I had to wait a week to come in. I even scheduled an appointment somewhere else, only to cancel a few hours later, as they made me feel more like an appointment rather than a human.

Come appointment time, I was a bit nervous, as I wasn't up to speed on the verbiage of hairstyles nowadays. Scratch all uncertainty off the list because Michaey was absolutely awesome. I know people can be partial to those that have given them good experiences, but I have to say, having spent a few hours there with Michaey and her other stylists, I wouldn't pause to let any of them work on my hair. In fact there was another girl there that hadn't done the salon thing and had "virgin hair" and her results were pretty freakin great.

In all honesty, I was not expecting the experience I had at Parlour. The ladies there are really quite great and I can't wait to book my next appointment. Salons, for me, have always been a little chore-feeling-like... I view it differently now.

These ladies know what they're doing and they do it because they love it. It's only obvious after a visit there. I can't believe I haven't mentioned this yet either but the pricing is VERY competitive. I hate commenting on price when it's more than a product (as customer service and all that obviously plays a major part) but I have to here because I left extremely satisfied all around.

I really enjoyed the salon the first couple of times I went but my last experience was horrible.

I went in for a trim and the stylist sat me down and asked what we were doing with my hair today. I Indicated on my hair using my fingers that I wanted just a small trim - no more than an inch and a half. That I wanted my length in the front to stay the same (I've been trying to grow my front pieces to the same length as the rest of my hair for so long).

The stylist was extremely rough during the whole process. I'm not tender headed by any means but wow I feel sorry for anyone that is. Not once did the stylist ask if the water temp was okay, if they were being too rough, etc. I honestly felt as though they were talking out some personal issues on my hair.

I am not one of those people that freaks out every time I get a hair cut and I'm not extremely attached to the length of my hair or anything along those lines. But I have never wanted to scream for someone to stop cutting my hair so bad!!! She just started chipping away and giving me layers and bangs. I could not believe it and I still can't. I absolutely hate my hair. Sure it looked good after she styled it but I don't style my hair everyday!! It looks horrible when I air dry and is so hard to pull back. I can't wait for this to grow out and it's a struggle everyday until then.

Chris is amazing. I have ruined my hair MULTIPLE times and he is always there to fix the mess I have made. He is great at the vivid colors and i never dread sitting in his chair!

Probably the best haircut I've ever had. I came in for a haircut and was so impressed. Hayley listened to exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly!! She didn't mind making any adjustments along the way either when I was being overly picky! She also did my eyebrows-first time I've ever had them waxed and was so sweet about it! Everything turned out stellar! Found my new go-to salon in San Marcos! Love it.
