The employees were polite enough although difficult to communicate with d/t the language barrier. I did not feel comfortable there because the rooms were more like semi-private cubicals separated by a privacy curtain that you can see through into the next room; but they didn't give me a hard time when I apologized and left before getting started.

Wow! This place is amazing. I had the signature spa with Kevin, using my Groupon. I will definitely be back... It was the best massage I've ever had. Thank you!

The massage was amazing. May was very dedicated and knew what she was doing. My back and body felt so much better after the massage. I will definitely come back.

I was here for a reflexology appointment. I'm pretty sure that is not what I received. The woman did do a good foot and leg massage but that is it. If you want a foot rub this is your place. Also, I went to tip the woman ($6 on a $30 service) and she told me no I had to tip $10!!! I could barely understand any of the employees and it was extremely uncomfortable besides being appalling! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Absolutely phenomenal massage experience. Affordable prices for a massage tailored to your body's own issues. Amy was a great therapist and honored my requests throughout my hour massage. Spa is clean, and calming. Will definitely be back to try the 90 minute massage!

I had my first reflexology massage from Allen this week and it was the best thing I could've done for myself! It was so much more than I expected. I have painful leg and foot neuropathy and take medication for the nerve pain. I've had nerve blocks, physical therapy, chiropractic and acupuncture in the past for the deep burning pins and needles pain. Allen worked on my feet like no one ever has and for the rest of the day and now a day later, I feel so much better than I have in months. I didn't need my medication last night to sleep, and I didn't wake up thru the night as I do every night to stretch and massage to relieve the pain. Amazing! The place is so pleasant and peaceful .. dim, relaxing music and smells so nice. Simply divine !
Thank you so much. I'm going back soon for a full massage .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marty B.Bernhards Bay, NY06Aug 23, 2016
What a bizarre experience. The place was closed when I arrived on time, the staff showed up as I waited. I'd requested a woman reflexologist but a guy gave the massage. I'm easy-going so did not complain. He had strong hands and gave a competent, thorough massage. However he chewed gum throughout, kept his cell phone on and nearby, answered it when it rang, had an electrician come in and march by several times, hopping up to help him, yelled to the folks at the front desk periodically when they needed help, and towards the end got into an argument with a co-worker, the two of them clearly ticked off at one another and shouting... while he's massaging my feet! It was very odd and shall we say, not relaxing!

I had an appointment scheduled for 9:30 AM and the workers were walking in the door at that time and told me I had to "wait so they could clean." I waited for over 15 minutes before they could actually begin the massage. The massage was not very good, I felt very bruised and sore after the massage and it was not relaxing in any sense. Following my massage, I went to give a tip of $10 for a massage I didn't enjoy at all, and they said to me, "the minimum tip for an hour is $10, and yours was hour and a half." A tip is the choice of the consumer and I should not have been asked to give more.

The woman did a fantastic job with the massage but I could hear the front end staff the entire 90 minutes. It was sad bc the massage was great but the atmosphere was not good. Loud, not relaxing and a bit weird.

Update: the day after, my back and neck are swollen and bruised, and I've been icing them and taking 3 ibuprofen every 6-8 hours for the pain. I could not sleep on my back last night because of the swelling.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Oct 28, 2016Previous reviewI've been to a lot of massage therapists, and this was the most bizarre and unpleasant experience yet. Upon arrival, nobody could speak English and I was herded back to a massage room. This "room" was really just a dark cubicle where I could hear other clients being slapped and rubbed. The "therapist" did not speak or understand English and therefore I couldn't have a conversation with her about any sort of physical requirements or goals of my massage. She bizarrely attacked my upper back with her ferocious knuckles, and at one point she actually climbed on top of the table over me, completely by surprise and unannounced. This was both psychologically disturbing and deeply uncomfortable because she literally sat on my ass without permission. I purchased a 90 minute, full body massage, but it was clear she had no idea how to do anything other than give me a very uncomfortable, cheap, oily back kneading. She did not touch my calves or hamstrings, which is where I really wanted to target because I practice yoga. The last 10 minutes was spent on the front side of my neck which I had tried to tell her to stay away from because I have a history of thyroid surgery, and I have no lymph nodes to protect that side of my neck. She of course did not understand me and proceeded to knead my neck like a ball of dough, which was painful enough without her hot, shrimpy lunch breath in my face. Keep in mind the whole time I am in during this experience, I am treated to a disco mix of Hindu pop on CD that skips. Also, the massage table headrest was stuffed with smelly fabric softener in order to make it presumably not smell like other people. Gross.
By the time it was thankfully over, I got dressed as quick as I could and made my way down the pitch black hallway to the front door. She stood between me and the front door with her hand out barking the word "tip, tip!" at me and literally would not let me leave. She physically blocked me from leaving until I tipped her a minimum of $10. I looked at it as a small ransom to get my now aching back out of hock.
The village of Manlius should be embarrassed that this place is allowed to operate as a licensed establishment. This is nothing more than a cheap rub down parlor of the 2nd worst kind. Groupon should vet merchants much more thoroughly in the future. I feel sorry for people who go to this place and think that this is a decent spa. It's not.
I am now heading home to shower this cheap oil off my skin. Never again.
