The Blowout Bar

All I can say is WOW! I was greeted and checked in as soon as I walked in the door and asked if I wanted anything to drink. Ashley came out right on time and did an incredible job with my blowout. I brought my clip in extensions with me and Ashley was able to put them in and style them with my hair! So happy with the results!!

This is my second time here and I've had an incredible experience both times! This will continue to be my go to spot anytime I need my hair styled for special events or even just a self care blowout!

The Blowout Bar is a group of salons in Central Ohio specializing in hair styling and blowouts. They also do make up application as well as fun looks for events.

I have been coming to the Blowout Bar for the past few years if I have a special event or for a special treat. I have long wavy hair which is super easy to straighten or wear as is, but I can not competently do a blow out with curls that last no matter how hard I try. Thankfully their stylists are amazing and are able to quickly and efficiently nail various looks. Cole is one of my favorites and today I had Amber who was amazing!

They also have various packages to be more cost effective. My blowout also lasts for an entire week when I use dry shampoo. The atmosphere is fun, friendly, and I definitely recommend if you are looking to elevate your look or just want a little break from styling your own hair!

Went to the blowout bar to get my hair done before a friends wedding. The workers were very welcoming and they did a great job on my hair! I hate that I'm totally blanking on the name of my stylist right now because she was phenomenal! Chatty and friendly without being too overbearing. Not to mention, they have booze for a reasonable price which I obviously couldn't pass up. The mimosa was delicious and the perfect size to last me my entire appointment. If I'm remembering correctly, it was only $7. My only feedback would be for them to be more mindful of what's on TV, while I was there there was some sort of Pixar like cartoon movie on. There weren't any kids in the salon at the time and I wasn't very interested in it, especially without subtitles!

I am starting to think maybe my expectations are just too high for blowout services. Another mediocre experience and not loving the way my hair looked. I was greeted in a rushed manner when I arrived. Did not ask if it was my first time there, did not ask if I wanted anything to drink, did not tell me the name of my stylist....just an "I'll go get her."

I booked for a 10 minute scalp massage. This is an add-on service that you pay for. Totally not worth the money, and not sure it was actually 10 minutes. I think I just wish the whole experience felt less rushed and more like a "treat."

So much fun and a great experience! My hair feels sooo soft + full of life. Love the scalp massage and how natural my hair felt afterwards. Kaelyn did an amazing job.

I had a great time getting my birthday blowout with Charlie at the Easton location! He was easy to talk to and really listened to what I needed with my hair :)

My favorite way to spend some much needed just for mom time! I originally stayed away from places like this because I thought they would never be able to blow out and style my curly hair but boy was I wrong!

Now I come here every 2 weeks and haven't washed my hair myself in about a year and a half.

I'm so grateful when cities have a blowout bar. Cute spot, great products and kind stylists. I did a walk in at 3pm on a Thursday, not a problem. They have several offerings for "styles." They also offer some make up service on the menu, but apparently their person is usually just in on weekends. $40 before tip for a blowout which is pretty standard. I would happily go back for another special even.

I received a gift certificate for the blowout bar for Mother's Day. I've had 2 blowouts done and I definitely had 2 different experiences, but still would recommend this place as a "splurge" or gift idea. The first experience left my hair soft and shiny and blowout for like 4 days without a greasy feeling. Money well spent!
The second experience was good but the girl used a mouse on my hair that left it kind of sticky and I could feel the product on my hair which I'm not a huge fan of. On the third day though, I re-curled my hair and added a bit of oil to it and it looks smooth and shiny! I'll probably get 4-5 days out of this one again.
I like this place for special occasions like a wedding and family pictures so that you don't have to worry about doing your own hair!

Emily did an amazing job! I ordered "the neat, please" and told her I needed my extra curly ringlets to be straight for days, for several indoor and outdoor parties and functions. My hair looks and feels amazing! It has stayed so straight and calm, even in high humidity. I will be back for sure. The results from this appointment have been amazing and I could not be more pleased. Emily is top-notch in my book.

I travel often to Ohio from TX and always have such a hassle with my hair on these trips. I am super excited to have found a dependable blowout place to straighten my unruly curls while I am in town.
