My hairdresser was really nice, offered me a beverage when I first walked in, asked my preferences for my haircut, and asked if there was anything I didn't like that a previous stylist did. They made sure to explain the entire process to relieve anxiety and had a really natural conversation with me by asking about my plans for the day, music taste, etc.
