This was the fastest (almost painless) Brazilian that I've ever had! Libby is a true professional.
The spa is a lush, cozy, welcoming environment (think heated thickly padded tables in the rooms, river rock floors, calming adornments; very Marin!
I recently moved from SF, really needed to find a new waxer and was pretty nervous about meeting someone as good as my longtime one. Well, the service by Libby at The Beauty Nook has surpassed anywhere that I've been. The waxing yielded a perfect, precise effect and in only 30 minutes! I was seriously amazed at how fast the whole service ended up being. AND it's affordable. "Boom" is the sound of my head exploding.

I've been seeing taryn for a year now and it's not an exaggeration to say she sparks joy for me every 3 weeks :) she's kind, warm, thoughtful, helpful, and that's all on top of being extremely professional and excellent at her work. I get compliments daily on my lashes, and it's not uncommon that 3 weeks later they're still in such great shape which I think is a testament to her meticulous application.

She's been accommodating of my full time working parent schedule, which means so much to me as I often struggle to fit in "me time". It's a subtle but to give a sense for her care and kindness - she's shared other local professionals and restaurants, just going above and beyond to make my life better. We always have great conversations about life, and she makes me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout.

Sara is absolutely amazing! I have booked facials, waxing, and more with her! Every single experience I have had there has been absolutely amazing. I highly recommend The Beauty Nook and Sara for any of your needs!! I always feel pampered when I am there and feel amazing when I leave. Sara always explains every step and the products she uses. I even buy some of the products they use because they are that great!

Highly recommend going to the beauty nook!! I got a wonderful dermaplane service from Sara. She was accommodating, kind and did an amazing job! My skin feels so smooth. Can't wait to come back and book a facial with her.

Sara is fantastic. She is kind and funny and fast and efficient...she does great work! The setting is very comfortable and clean...warm and pretty, and good music! Would def recommend!

I went for a refill of my lashes. The girl named Taren worked with a lot of haste and rushed to finish. They wanted me to pay fast and leave as it was their lunch hour. The next day I wake up to see half of the lashes on my left eyes had fallen. I called to let Teran know and asked to go back for having it fixed.. the two eyes were totally uneven and looked odd. I called 5 times with no response. Eventually came a text to my phone that Teran is busy and has no times for the following two weeks to see me !! On top of all the terrible work and service they charged my card for $380 instead of $240 !! Don't go there. There are some other decent places that do the job nicely.

Wonderful salon with comfortable, soothing surroundings. Staff works with you to find scheduling that works and try to squeeze you in for "emergencies"! Highly recommend

I have been going to Taryn for my lash needs for nearly 4 years. She has done it all for me! Originally, I started going to her for lash extensions. She always knew how to make them look natural, yet fabulous. Due to a general change in preferences, I now go to her for lash lifts. My lashes always look flawless! She even remembers which eye needs to sit longer with the serum, since I never can lol. Aside from her skills, Taryn is a sweetie. It can be daunting to sit with someone with your eyes closed for an hour, but Taryn makes sure I am comfortable and is fun to talk to. Lastly, Taryn has been flexible with me. My work schedule can be a nightmare to work around and I'm constantly going on last minute trips - Taryn always finds a way to squeeze me in :)

All in all, I highly recommend going to Taryn!
