We gave this two solid tries b/c it's such a cute idea and my kids were excited for a cool experience- but it's just SUPER poorly managed.
Stylists are hit and miss- some are solid, but we also had an experience with a rude stylist who yanked and yanked at my daughter's knots to the point she was visibly in pain.
They schedule loud, music-blaring parties at the same time as general appointments, so it can be really overwhelming for some kids.
On the last visit, we booked an overall package - 2 separate multi-service appointments scheduled for the same time - at the last minute they switched us to one stylist and made them one after the other, doubling the amount of time we needed to spend. Then told me they would upcharge me for "extra time" spent on the blowout that was included in the package (when we did not, and there was no way we possibly would, go over their 45min time limit on the cut & style). When I talked to the manager the reasons changed, then it was totally backed off of. When I questioned this once, I was told "you keep going back and forth but I already said we wouldn't upcharge" which came across as rude and dismissive, considering they were trying to pass along unwarranted charges.
It's just a shame- this idea has so much potential! They need real managers who make this great for kids and families.
