Very, very satisfied. Caveat is that this is my first eyebrow tinting experience. Nevertheless, I was so impressed with the super down-to-earth and honest service, great value, and final result. I booked same-day - literally was booked in 15 minutes after I hung up the phone. The Yonge and College St location is very convenient, though the salon itself was a bit tricky to find. Definitely Google Map it, then trust the Map directions and enter the generic looking brick building right beside Starbucks and go up the stairs (or elevator) to the 2nd floor. From there, turn left and left, and the salon is tucked away at the end of the hall. Unfortunately I don't think there were any signs for the salon outside the building or in the lobby, so just trust.

For yesterday, since it was my first time, I just asked for eyebrow tinting. I asked for a dark brown hue (my hair is naturally black) and for a small arch to be created. My stylist was fantastic - she also provided a free, quick phone consult prior to my booking and was very honest. The whole procedure was super fast (10-15 mins), there was no wait, and the final sugaring step (they use sugar to "wax" around the tint to give it a cleaner look) was only mildly painful, but nothing bad at all. A bit of redness and irritation afterwards and even this morning, but that was to be expected, and the redness is steadily going away. My stylist made me feel super comfortable and informed! For eyebrow tinting it's only $20, which is so much better than rates at Sephora. They accept all forms of payment. Prices are also all transparent on their website.

The final result I'm very happy with :) My stylist told me everything to expect during the session, e.g. the brow color will look darker until you wash your face, so don't be alarmed. After cleaning my face at home my eyebrows looked so natural! And it was a huge time saver this morning when I didn't have to line my eyebrows.

I'm definitely coming back to Sugarmoon for future procedures!

Visited Sugarmoon for my first Brazilian AND first sugaring experience. I've always heard that sugaring is less painful than waxing, so being the smart cookie I am, I decided to go ahead and get my first ever Brazilian done (sarcasm - if this is your first time sugaring I'd highly recommend something less extreme...perhaps your legs?)

I booked an appointment with Amy, and the booking process is very simple. It can be done over the phone or online (if you're like me and you'd prefer to avoid human contact as much as possible, the online booking system is your friend). They require your credit card upon booking the appointment, and has a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Sugarmoon is located at the corner of Yonge and College, with the main entrance being just beside the Starbucks. Take the stairs two flights up, and it's on the left. The rooms are very clean, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Amy was absolutely amazing. She was very punctual and saw me at exactly 4:30pm (the time of my appointment). She took the time to explain everything to me, and was very careful and thorough in her methods. We chatted the entire time, and it really helped distract me from the pain. I'm not going to lie - it was painful, but definitely bearable. Of course, I have nothing to compare it to as I've never gotten a Brazilian before, but I have a very low pain tolerance (leg waxing nightmares haunt me) and I got through this fine.

I will definitely be returning to Sugarmoon in the future. The experience is certainly not pleasant, but at Sugarmoon they make it better :)

The place may be a bit hidden. The main entrance is between the optometry office and the Starbucks on the corner. Then climb up two flight of stairs and turn left.

I've gone with Amy twice (based on reviews) for underarms and she is awesome, definitely experienced. I think waxing is more efficient (one pass and it's over) vs. sugar (multiple applications as the surface area is smaller). However one big advantage of sugaring is that my skin isn't fiery red and raw afterwards.

I had a sugaring appointment with Gabriella. First of all, she is the sweetest, kindest person to chat with ever, secondly, she is really great at sugaring and always makes sure that I am comfortable.

Most importantly I had never sugared before, after the first appointment I booked for four weeks follow up as usual but somehow it seemed sugaring actually slowed hair growth and I can now book every 5 weeks!

I have been going to Sugarmoon for probably around 6 years now for all my waxing needs, even trusting them to my pre-wedding hair removal. I wish I could give 4.5 stars, as everything about this place is spot on, but think it is a huge scam that they charge you for first time wax if you haven't been in over a certain amount of time. My appointments always take 20 minutes, regardless of how long ago I last went, but yet you are charging me for a first time, 30 minute appointment? c'mon, customer loyalty. Even though I do not go every 4-6 weeks, I go regularly through the year and only choose Sugarmoon for all my waxing needs.

I've had bad reactions to waxing in the past and I was nervous about the sugaring. Obviously they are both painful in the moment but my experience with sugaring here was amazing. A few hours later, most of the redness was gone and the next morning everything was beautiful. The building this location is in is very old and the unit Sugarmoon is in is beautifully renovated. The staff is friendly and kind. The prices are reasonable and I will be back.

I googled the top spray tans in Toronto and this place came up. I decided to try a new place as my original salon is in Brampton and I now live in Toronto. I must say the staff is great but I was so disappointed with my tan, my face was much darker than my body and I had a lot of unevenness as well as an orange tone. I was so disappointed when I left and on top of that it was $75. I don't mind the price as long as the quality is great and in this case it wasn't. I was better off driving to Brampton and sticking with the person I trust and has always done a great job. Very disappointed customer.

Came in today for an underarm and lower leg wax, and I could not say anything bad if I tried to. I had Hanna, and she was the sweetest, I would definitely recommend her. Left smooth as a whistle.

Came back today and had Ashley, one of the worst waxes ever, she was careless, rushed, and not professional. I hated it, I have hair left everywhere, when I was looking at her smooth the wax, there was a blob of something that looked like a piece of teal rubber like her glove, just in the middle of the wax she was using. Will not be returning to her.
