It was my first sugaring. What makes sugaring greater than waxing? It doesn't irritate, leaves no redness, and it's pretty pain-free. I think I'll stick to threading for eyebrows since shaping and arching require a bit more precision than I think sugaring allows. But for other areas that don't require that, I'll choose sugaring. Those are my thoughts on sugaring in general; what are my thoughts on sugaringLA?
I'm glad that my first experience was with sugaringLA! It was super pleasant, friendly vibes, clean, cute, and relaxing. During my first appointment, I took advantage of a first-time client promotion to prepay for two Brazilian waxing sessions. However, upon returning for my second session, Aliza Turnbull refused to honor the prepayment.
Aliza acknowledged seeing my past receipt with payment for two sessions but argued that my original online booking was for a single session (I saw the promo when walking into the store for the first time so obviously when I booked online it was just for a single session). She insisted that I should have changed my booking after paying for the promotion...why should I, a customer, manage their internal backend appointment system...lol
This resulted in me PAYING DOUBLE for a single service BECAUSE OF A MISTAKE THEY MADE. Be cautious of their poor customer service and failure to honor advertised promotions, despite having clear records of payment -- to make matters worse Aliza was so rude about it -- awful experience all around.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I had some extra classpass credits to use, so I decided to get my brows and lip cleaned up. My first time sugaring! The ambiance is super nice - minimalistic, clean, and natural. The whole procedure only took about 15 minutes.
I would've appreciated if the sugar was cleaned off my face better afterwards - there were small bits in my eyelashes blocking my vision, but that was just a small inconvenience. I was initially impressed with the quick service, but I realized the next day there was still hair remaining on my upper lip. The redness also didn't go away and I developed bumps on my face. These areas felt like a burn - my guess is from the lemon acidity in the ingredients, which wasn't completely removed. My recommendation is to wash your face with water in their bathroom afterwards to ensure all the sugar is off, to avoid a reaction like mine.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I scheduled a last minute appointment just 1 hour before my scheduled time. I was thankful to have gotten an appointment so quickly as I was struggling to find availability with my previous sugaring expert. Ashley completed the job efficiently and effectively. There was absolutely no residue left behind, all hair was removed, and any ingrown were tweezed meticulously. It's been years since I've had a sugaring expert show this much care!
